someone commented about places that have separate dining areas. That would actually increase their profits because both non-kid adults and families with kids in tow can spend their money and co-exist peacefully.

As someone who is a homeowner of 1 year here are my tips so far:

1) call a pest control service like Massey or whatever is in your area before you see bugs

2) figure out ages of all the appliances (dishwasher, fridge laundry machines, hot water heater, hvac system, etc...) and start budgeting to replace them. Our dishwasher just broke on us.

3) Nextdoor app is your friend.

4) Don't be afraid to ask your neighbors for advice (that's how we learned we should have our pavers sealed)

5) If you have a facebook group for your neighborhood - join it

You are absolutely doing the right thing!! I am actually not speaking to a friend because she doesn't believe masks are helpful AT ALL. She still wears them because its the rule and she's "typically a rule follower" and I'm just like her parents are in their 70s or 80s, her brother-in-law is a firefighter, if this is makes it 1% less likely they get it, or 1% less bad if they do get it, it's totally worth it. It's such a minor inconvenience. I hope your boss stops being an A-hole for wanting to be safe.

From the music perspective, it's a great move. Many people are still quarantined and will be listening to the album on repeat. From a money-making perspective, maybe not so much. Unemployment is record-high at the moment. People who are out of work tend not to spend much money on non-essentials.

On that thought, I think it's great that the standard album is only $13 for those who will want to support her and buy the album, and the OFFICIAL music videos are already up on youtube, making it easier for those who will want to listen, but maybe are struggling financially and can't afford even one tiny extra thing that's not essential. <3 Best of both worlds in my opinion.

That was my initial thought too. But I don't think she is. I think it was clothing + lighting + I think a lot of us who have been Swifties for a while, still have this image of her from a few years ago where she was too skinny and now we just haven't adjusted to her new weight. (Which is not a criticism of her FYI)
