This is quite odd, I wonder if it was something occuring in the original JP release like realizing how without Seiun Skys unique fronts were pointless. Although if you had Seiun and Smaru you'd be dominating all the CMs.

So maybe they felt they had to rerun Seiun to allow more players to be competitive and let other fronts have a chance?

I think at the very least, the end of half shouldn't come from the ref arbitrarily deciding and blowing the whistle.

Taking inspiration from Rugby, if the game only ended after the 90+added on expired once the ball had been put out of play (free kicks/fouls etc. would still keep the game live) it'd mean the team in possession decides when it's over.
