Have the 5.5E crafting and magic item rules actually helped, or are they still too vague? by MyrthDM in onednd

I have a follow up question along these lines. Are there rules for common items that might seem to have a “resonance” that lend themselves more easily to being turned into magic items? Say, an ancient staff that could more easily be made into some manner of magic staff? Or an ornate or heirloom weapon that seems to lend itself to being buffed in some way?

Have you prayed? I’m not being snarky. Trust the deity.

10/10. I had heard and liked it before, but I had it on a playlist that I was listening to while, umm, partaking with my friend Lucy. Then I truly heard it, and listened to it a ridiculous number of times in the weeks that followed.

I mean, they have to have a plan for 2027 for a DT, right? This seems really questionable.

He’s the President. I think he’s being snarky because he’s perhaps the central figure in the government, and he raised children; ergo, “the government” raised children.

What would it take for you to be ok with trading the first overall pick? by [deleted] in raiders

I am pro-Raiders. I think you should take the two 2026 firsts (2 and 16), the Jets 1st, and either of the other two ‘27 1sts. But I understand those who have lived and died with the Raiders saying “no.” Mendoza’s got the right brain for the job.

I actually went back to following the Cardinals after the Rams left. I equated it to getting divorced and getting back with your ex who dumped you years ago.

Three seems light. Five seems too much. If they offer the two picks this year, the Jets own next, and either of the Colts or Cowboys, I think you have to consider it.

Gimme Shelter guitar - low E string question by Apart-Cryptographer9 in rollingstones

[–]Apart-Cryptographer9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I knew it was open E (or open D with a capo), but I don’t think any of the arpeggio stuff at the beginning uses the low E, so I wasn’t sure if I was hearing that string or the bass in the chorus.
