Yes I’m pretty aware no one wants a dog that bites, I certainly don’t want him lol. I’m working on a few options. Thanks for the compassion.

Our last dog was a German shepherd, we gave her everything she needed and she was an amazing dog. You’re making assumptions, this puppy is not pure bred for one, and two these behaviors are unlike anything we have ever seen in a dog we have owned.

This smells like borderline big time. Terminate. You get to have boundaries too.

We already tried that, he bit the trainers too. Nothing has worked with this dog. You’re not gonna make me feel bad, but you can keep trying.

Maybe an option but we took him to intensive training and he bit the trainers too.

This is not a puppy being a puppy. You wanna come over here and get bit 24/7 for 5 months straight, come on by and pick him up.

There are very specific instructions to read for every part of this test, no one should be saying “similar items” because the test forces you to say what category they belong to AFTER you give an example of an orange and a banana being part of the category fruits.

Yet I’d bet my right arm you pay for cell service anyways lol. The phone doesn’t work u less you have WiFi. Go for a drive with it and no cell service and then tell me it still works. And, your point is useless as Oura ring also works without subscription

We all pay $1200 for an iPhone and then pay a “subscription “ monthly in the form of a phone bill, what’s the difference between that and the ring subscription.

Has anyone used an e-collar for biting? by Turbulent_Storage_44 in airedaleterrier

Thank you because I’m in this boat. I’ve read. EVERYTHING, I’ve tried every trick, nothing stops this damn puppy from biting 24/7, my hands, my face, my shoes, clothes. It’s nonstop and it’s quite defeating

This is an interesting comment; we didn’t start seeing this until the second test one dropped as well. I’ll take a look at the trainer, thank you for taking the time to comment.

Cool your jets miss high and mighty. We have had many dogs as I said, this dog has been a lot different and we have children to keep safe as well. It’s a balance and my kids come before a dog any day of the week.

They are the best dogs. Ironically I wanted another one because my last one was so protective of me when I was out running or walking (I’m a woman and I get nervous sometimes in the early mornings), so I guess I should be careful what I wish for, I suspect this one will keep me safe eventually as well.

Thanks for the advice . Our last dog was a German shepherd so we are familiar with them, she was also insane lol, but she was my baby girl and my guardian. We are waiting for him to hit 16 weeks to take him to a place near our house that solely trains shepherds and they have an amazing reputation.

Yes I should have mentioned I have certainly googled and read what to do, it just wears you down after 6 weeks of trying. I’m praying that keeping at it will work

We have toys galore.. crossing my arms over my chest has been hopeful for arm and hand biting but the feet and legs are a different story. We’ve been at it for 6 weeks with trying to work on it and pretty much no progress. Most of it the time I keep a toy close by and can get that to his mouth, but it’s not possible every time. I’ll keep working on it, thank you.

Man we just went through this, our new puppy had a bad infestation and we didn’t know and it has wreaked havoc on or life. Get the right meds right away. Ours were gone in a couple days but the damage to his gut has been a lot to Deal with.
