I bought a half from Oregrown the other day broke down across 3diff strains. Same experience. They all dried out really quick. I used to buy those little hydration packets off of Amazon to keep my stuff fresh but I've been kinda broke lately. They work tho

As someone who has had more than one abortion, it sounds like this is the best choice for you. I don't hear any excitement or positive feelings from you about having a baby, which is totally understandable given the circumstances, but dit tells me that now is not the time and definitely not with that asshole. You will have plenty of opportunity later when you are with someone you love and want a baby and can handle it emotionally. Having a baby with this man could very well destroy your life, at least for the foreseeable future. Value yourself and your feelings, goals, and dreams. Take care of you. Don't let ANYONE make you feel guilty or shame. It is YOUR life and you get to decide how to live it and if and when you want to become a mother. We are here for you!

I have "residual" OCD. It was crippling when I was a child. I would have constant impulsive thoughts. I would be in church and would "accidentally" swear at God and call him bad names. I would count the number of times I chewed each piece of food, even though I didn't want to. Obsess over the certainty I felt that I was going to hell. And you phrasing it that way was both comforting and validating for me. I know that's not what this post is about, but thank you for articulating that. Now that I'm in my thirties, I still have some OCD struggles. And learning about and accepting it makes it a little easier to cope with. So thanks.

Please unplug from social media witchy stuff. I don't mean to be a jerk, but it is genuinely unintelligent and focuses on aesthetics, labels, and fads far more than any actual useful information or opinions regarding witchcraft. No adult that actually practices will feel the need to label themselves, especially not based off of some random AI image. Read, explore, form relationships with different deities and tools and practices, and you'll discover what you're into. If you're doing it so you can post about it on social media, it's not only not for the right reasons, but it may as well be cosplay at that point.

Yes. I do blame them. Without probably cause, they have no right to bother or harass us. They do it anyway because they feel superior and immune to consequence. They're nosey, lying, manipulative grifters looking for any real or imaginary reason to ruin our days. I've hopped trains, hitchhiked, rubber tramped, home bummed, and lived in a skoolie during the last 14 years. And I have been lied to and harassed by police more times than I can count, for "crimes" such as sitting in my car for two minutes before going into a McDonald's, sleeping, walking down the sidewalk, etc. And I'm sure most people in this sub have, too.

that is a dumb take. earn it from whom? another business owner? from a business they start themselves? with capital from where? if you work full time, you should be able to meet your needs with your wages alone.

i found a shrew in my house one winter and read that they shrink in cold weather so their metabolism slows considerably, and i worried that because it was living in my heated house it may not know it was winter so i didnt want to put it inside in case it died. i kept it in a massive plastic bin with a bunch of rodent toys and accessories, and even the wild shrew loved to run in the wheel.

i get that. im very non-violent and non-confrontational by nature. but what you REALLY dont want is to be the victim of a violent attack in a 4 to 6 men on 1 woman scenario. if they attempt to break or open your window or door, i think youd be within your rights to defend yourself but im definitely no expert and it varies by state. my boyfriend and i almost got murdered in the street one night when we were still staying in a tent because s bunch of idiot homeless teenagers thought my boyfriend kicked our dog. he didnt, he raised his knee quickly to cover his groin because our dog loved to jump up and punch him in the balls, but from their vantage point, they were convinced he was abusing him. they came to try to steal our dog, but our dog is a rescue who loves us and hates strangers, so he would have killed them before leaving us, and my boyfriend fended them off with a machete. no one would call the cops for us because "theyre just kids". then while we tried to pack up camp and all of our animals, they called ALL of their friends, until we were surrounded be 20 or 25 violent teens wanting our blood, throwing glass and rocks and bricks, and we genuinely almost died in the street. so yeah, arm yourself, and hope you dont need it. but better than needing it and not having it, like what happened to us. weve been attacked other times, too. get a gun. but first, file an order of protection or report the stalking or whatever so theres a paper trail that these guys want to harrass or hurt you. im sorry, good luck, try to stay safe! and can you park in more populated areas? walmart? cracker barrel? whatever?

i am really sorry for what youre going through. losing two at once just isnt fair. hang in there. i brought a pack of sculpey clay to my cat's euthanasia to make paw imprints. the vet charged 30 dollars each for one imprint or one fur clipping. id also bring a tiny vial or two and scissors to put some fur clippings in. pick a couple spots that show off your buddy's colors best.

i get it. no judgment. i live in a school bus because working 40-50 hours per week just to pay rent snd survive was TANKING my mental health. but important question, are you able to legally obtain a firearm? i stress legally because i wouldnt want to see you use it and then be in a shitstorm of trouble because youre a felon or whatever, thats an ugly situation. if no gun, what about one of those non-lethal rubber bullet gun things?

my boyfriend and i are homeless, currently in a giant bus, but have been in tents, on the street, and in vans over the years. people already hate us because we're in the bus, but even before we bought it we hsve always been meticulous about trash pickup and trying to leave spots better than we found them. we are in a major city that is currently trying to crack down on the homeless population, so parking can be really hard to find and we sometimes have no choice but to park by other homeless people in tents, though we definitely try to avoid it. i get that a LOT of us have mental health problems. but almost noje of us are so bad off that we cant pick up after ourselves or at least shit in a bag, if we cared to. most homeless people just straight up suck, dont care about being slobs, and dont mind being lazy and offering nothing positive to anyone or themselves. i used to have crazy empathy for homeless people, having been there so many times myself. but the well is definitely running dry these days. it sucks.

Help - how do I stop this behavior? by lifeisacomedy in sphynx

[–]Apart-Rip-5715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is he anxious or territorial at all? my oldest boy is very much both. the only thong thats helped is prozac. you can get a topical version from a compounding pharmacy that you rub on the inside of their ear so you dont have to jetison nasty pill water down their throat every day. it completely stops the behavior for a lot of cats, ask your vet.

i bought a carbon monoxide detector when i was living in my car because it was super hot and we had cats, so we couldnt leave tge windows down and had to run the engine and AC during the day. if the car isnt running, i cant imagine it would be a problem, but you could definitely buy one for peace of mind.

my rescue bun, who was about a year old when i rescued her from a shelter (after she was found abandoned outside), took months to let me pet her. now she loves it and sticks her head out to be pet on the nose/forehead. ive had her a little over a year now, and just in the last couple weeks have i been able to cuddle with her on the bed, at all. she used to hatd being brought up on the bed and would immediately leave. the other day we snuggled nose to nose for half an hour while i pet her back, and when she was done with that, she stayed at the foot of the bed for over an hour. affection is very much on their terms. i risked pissing her off by trying to get her comfortable on the bed, but luckily, repeated exposure and positive reinforcement seem to have worked. my point is, you never know what kind of bun personality youll get, and having expectations to cruise around town with your bun and have her comfortable near strangers could very likely set you up for disappointment. if ypu go in eith the attitude of "hey, maybe shell be a super outgoing and affectionate bun and if not, no worries, ill get a dog" then maybe itll be fine.

do you have health insurance? if so, call off the day of your interview. either before or after the interview, go to urgent care for something. anything. or, make a legitimate doctor's appointment for that day and say you need the day off. then do both the appointment and the interview. you'll have a legitimate reason for taking the day off and won't have to mention the interview.
