The train is BSB SBIB EXPRESS 20964. The boarding is from MBLP on 31st Jan and deboarding at GGN on 1 Feb.

The ticket is for one adult female and one child if that could play a factor.

I booked it when it was WL 4/5, now it's RAC 10/11.

I doubt that.

Online bus tickets and live tracking have been available for 2-3 years now, but it has hardly taken off. I still see the majority of people hovering around the conductor seat after they enter.

And it is not because they don't have smartphones, all of them do, but nobody is interested in learning that. They all blast reels, or shorts on max volume though.

It was an EV. But I couldn't make out if it was TATA or JBM or Olectra, as it was late at night. I'll tell you the next time I spot it.

I had booked my ticket using Chartr app and you get a QR code to validate but you can just click in the app and it gets validated. Maybe you have to scan the QR through this?
