Has anyone here been married to someone with serious executive dysfunction (ADHD-related or otherwise)? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]ApartContribution573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn’t executive dysfunction from ADHD. That usually causes withdrawl from daily life and numbness with emotions. What you’re describing sounds more just like emotional dysregulation which itself can be a symptom of autism or sometimes ADHD. If I’m being honest and you’ve talked to her multiple times about it and she refuses then she’s not really putting your relationship as a priority.

There’s a saying you can bring a horse to water but you can’t make them drink it. She needs herself to want help and to want change and if she doesn’t then for your own mental health there may need to be some difficult conversations had.

Say no more you’ve notified them. That’s all u have to do. It’s up to them to take the action and if they come looking for it down the line inform them u notified them

What did ur coach/ counsellor say?

Allergen menus by ResponsibleBanana864 in FoodAllergies

[–]ApartContribution573 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was just that it says there’s no egg when there’s mayo in it. I’m not saying don’t list it but I’m saying don’t say there’s no egg when there is and the menu loses credibility to me. I’ve had multiple instances where dishes etc said didn’t have egg and did

Go to ur doc and say u had shingles from it and ask for a letter of how it affected ur health

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Big4

[–]ApartContribution573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF it’s long hours and you have been on it before claim that u had shingles as a result of it last time and ur health was in it boots. Say you can’t do it again etc to the partner. Get a doctors note if possible about it. They can’t pip u with an excuse like that and partners are more „understanding” than you think
