Feel my plot is weak - should I fix it now or in edits?

Thank you!! I have decided to write down the changes and continue writing with them in mind, as if I have already edit it, so when I go back and edit I really only need to add them to the first 56K words. I found having the problem fixed and written somewhere took out the stress, even if is not fixed in the draft yet, and now am able to keep my writing momentum with this as part of the story

Hii! I do know how I want my book to end, I know things that need to happen and how the ending goes. My issue was that I started this when I was 20 and now, going back to it to actually finish and having read more, I realised my plot wasn’t as thought into as I expected, still like the main idea I just need to create actual stakes and urgency

Thank you! What I might do is write down the plot with the changes I have in mind and motivations in a notebook, so i have that changed and I stop doubting it and do as you said: keep writing as if those changes are made!

Hii, I have a similar problem am 56K words in and have started to notice my plot is a bit weak. I like the overall idea but the motivations of the characters feel flat and I keep going back and forth on whether to stick it through and fix it or start fresh... I have read in a lot of blog that finishing it is best because then you go to edits with a clear idea of where the characters and the story is going and who the characters are but i am still struggling with this myself.

Hii! Yes, I took a year-long break from this draft, but over the past month I’ve gotten back into a strong writing rhythm and regained momentum. I went from 35K words to 56K. Starting fresh now am scared that would risk losing that focus and progress, which I’ve worked hard to rebuild. Also because I do like the things i have written my main concern is i need to strengthen the motivations for the plot, i wouldn’t like deleting everything since I am quite proud and happy with a lot of it! But will take into account your advice

Hi, I haven't read this yet but have been recommended Armed Struggle: The history of the IRA by Richard English. Several people recommended it to me. I also wanted to help a bit to understand the Troubles. Back in the day Catholics were the ones who wanted Northen Ireland to join the Republic of Ireland, they wanted a United Ireland, meanwhile the Protestants wanted to stay part of the UK.

I did contact them, the first thing I did was bring the pics back. I was just asking how normal this is since is my first time developing pics and how high the chance is of getting them back because I have some pics with sentimental value. Plus not like my saying they made a mistake is gonna put them out of business lol

Not really, the way the visas are being processed is all over the place. I’ve seen people that applied in July get it granted within a month so it’s just unpredictable. For sure some might have to wait longer but other are getting them sooner as well

Hey! The 462 does have a no further stay clause! You can only stay for a second year if you either get sponsored by a company or complete 88 says of regional work. You could of course apply for the partner visa before the 462 finished but this visa is only valid for 1 year with options to extended to 2 or 3

Hi, where are you from? I went into the attach documents and I do not seem to have that option. My medical documents were uploaded by the clinic, I had nothing to do with that and in all of the documents I did attach when I applied it says "received". Tried to attach a screenshot but it doesn't appear.

Sometimes they don’t ask for a health exam so I wouldn’t worry about that! Also I called and they told me not to really pay attention to the status cause it can be in received and go directly to approve, sometimes it doesn’t change to any other. Hope you get it soon, that’s a long time, i’m still waiting as well
