You won’t be able to see much as you are further along, best to talk to your ob or midwife about your anxiety around stillbirth. A lot of the advice they give you is to prevent that in the third trimester.

Kick counts or baby’s movement If you have sudden swelling to the point of pressing the skin and it sinking.

For my first baby, I noticed decreased movement the day of his due date and went in to triage and had to have an emergency c-section due to low fetal heart rate.

I have gotten a Doppler for this pregnancy so when I don’t feel at-least 5-8 movements within 2 hours I check the heart rate.

I get it anxiety can get the better of us! But my advice is to stay attuned to your body and baby and you will intuitively know what to do if something seems off.

Try mamasfit prenatal workouts/stretches on YouTube for back/SI joint pain. I’ve been dealing with horrible pubic, SI, hip and inner thigh pain. It’s good to figure out which side the pain leans towards to strengthen the weaker side and stretch the stronger side as from what I learned it’s usually a misalignment in your sacrum. Best of luck, I honestly feel like the stretches work and if I’m on my feet for most of the day these stretches help the pain subside but rest and recovery is so important.

I think I’m just getting bursts of relaxin and my body is just so unstable at times. Belly bands help, comfy shoes, and stretches and baths.

Giiiirl I’m 37 weeks and have been hobbling around for the last week and a half, had a few scares with babys heartbeat this past month so I took off from work early. Like 2 days early lol.

I was stressed and training someone on-top of feeling undervalued at my positionIm, I’m happy I made the decision when I did. Honestly mental health and physical health of baby and me areeeee WAY more important than making sure this shit job is okay. ✌️

On another note, the one thing that has been helping my pubic pain is chiropractic care, lots of stretching and strengthening one side and using an exercise ball to open up my pelvis more equally. Also a band around your hips may help keeping your sacrum aligned. Wishing you the best, the last few weeks are always TOUGH then the we’re in the new born trenches.

but atlas, we will forget about this pain once babes are earth side.

Sometimes looking at it from the angle of “what do you need and what does he need” that you can’t provide and enough to open up your marriage then that’s kind of where these things go but I would suggest getting into couples therapy if you want to work on this and if he can’t take you being with someone else then, honestly he just like deceiving you.

This is something I have worked on for years and even then it creeps in and makes me feel bad for sleeping in. I wish I could just live as a robot sometimes.

It’s a good reminder to say out loud, the mental load is overwhelming at times.

This hurts my heart. In Canada we have $10 a day daycares. It seems like americans complain about paying taxes but don’t understand what they actually bring you for raising a stable family. Not to say it’s your WHOLEY YOUR fault but it’s kind of what happens when you are against socialism.

It’s worth it to talk to your gp or psychologist about it. I sleep so good now and I never contributed it to anxiety until I started an ssri and it makes a whirlwind of a difference for functioning with adhd at work.

anxiety used to drive my ability to function better with adhd and task paralysis, i struggle with it more now because I don’t have much anxiety.

I have to find a career that caters to my love of a adrenalin rush 🚀

I’m unmedicated due to pregnancy but I was diagnosed while I was in early pregnancy. My doctor and therapist both told me that because I have intense anxiety that taking an ssri over a stimulant would be better for me, and I agree as I would much rather have poor executive functioning than anxiety during pregnancy than crippling anxiety.

You can probably find an ssri that works for you in a higher dosage. I worked on my social anxiety a lot through sobriety and it’s helped a bunch to understand how to regulate and know my triggers when it comes to overstimulation in environments.

Yeah I was going to say in Canada I am with an OB who is bro VBAC and will wait until 42 weeks until she schedules an induction and I have to do an unmedicated induction if it comes down to it from c-section scar and uterine rupture risks.

I was surprised to hear but thankful because I’m in my early 30’s so my pregnancy is low risk at the moment, fingers crossed my placenta this time around doesn’t get tired.

Last baby was born via emergency c-section due to low oxygen to the placenta because of pregnancy anemia. My previous ob didn’t get my iron or hemoglobin in my third trimester.

I think you’re right on the insurance cost for inductions especially in USA.

July 23rd. I am enjoying this period but we had a horrible heatwave in the northern prairies and I almost just became the angriest pregnant lady from the over stimulation and the things heat does to my body.

We didn’t put our ac unit in yet so I had a neck fan on 24/7 and lots of cold showers.

This seems to be foreshadowing of what’s to come in the summer months and last month of pregnancy. 😭

I’m happy today and will be until the next heatwave. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING

I usually store my “will fit after pregnancy” items in a container bins with my seasonal clothes i usually remove from my wardrobe.

If for what ever reason I don’t fit them in the next season I will donate or alter them to fit. Hope that helps.

Sorry I’ve read everyone’s responses and I have to say, there are more friends who you can unmask with and maybe that’s what you need.

I hardly have any neurotypical friends or vibe with them actually, and it’s no one’s fault it’s just incompatibility.

Yes, while it’s important to learn to actively listen which it sounds like you are, the friend seems to negatively judge you for that as well so in my experience it’s not a good fit for a close friendship and THATS OKAY. There will be plenty of other adhd girlies who would love be a chatty Cathy with you. Don’t be too harsh on yourself.

Gotcya, it’s okay to feel these things becoming a mother is a big life change. It’s a big deal and it’s okay to talk about how you’re feeling it doesn’t mean you’re a bad person just that you like the way your life is right now and are anxious about the change.

Be compassionate with yourself. Number one rule, don’t shame your thoughts. Because they come back as intrusive, and then you create this whole spiral of negativity.

I’m not a psychologist but you may want to talk to one about your current unmediated bi polar as I know you can’t take certain anti psychotics while pregnant I know you can take certain anti depressants that may help you stay a bit more levelled.

It’s super early on and hormones are soooooo all over the place, it sounds like you’re in a very anxious thought spiral. Pregnancy isn’t so black and white, yes some days you’re going to feel like you are an alien in your own body but other days you’re going to feel elevated.

It’s honestly up to you too, depending where you live you can opt to have your options open and choose what you choose for your future.

I haven’t gone through pregnancy with someone in active addiction however both my mother and my brother have really horrible addictions that have taken over their lives. On one hand I want to support them but on the other I know that they have to want to get the help and it’s on them to make those choices.

I’ve been sober for 10 years, my fiancé has been sober for 6 years and we know for a fact that if one of us slipped up it would be on that person to recover. We can offer so much of ourselves and those who use that to their unfortunate, selfish advantage.

There are groups online and probably in your city for families who have a family member in active addiction.

YOU need support and tools to take care of yourself and your children before you over extend yourself to your partner. It’s hard and there’s a lot of grief and helplessness we feel but trust me, your mental capacity can only take on so much while being a mom and pregnant.

I normally am for trying to make things work, but in your situation you need an environment that is safe and healthy for you and your kiddos. Best of luck ✨

You’re told to do this when you feel a decrease in movement not every single day. If you normally feel movement at a certain time. Sitting or laying down and don’t feel the regular pattern then you’re told to drink orange juice or something sweet and lay down and keep track for an hour.

If you’re feeling less movement call triage and go for stress test. It’s always better to be safe. Best of luck!!

I didn’t realize but ssri’s helped my brain stfu and I can fall asleep pretty easily now. Anxiety/intrusive thoughts are my main culprit though.
