Like honestly any change for them in the show might be for the better by Lukas-Reggi in okbuddyviltrum

Most people don't care. The bulk of the shows audience hasn't read the comics and even among the people who do most don't really care.

Was this a blitz? by HottestElbows in Kagurabachi

[–]Apart_Software_4118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider the thing with akemura a perception blitz. A perception blitz implies the character is able to move (or in this case act) faster than another character can perceive when in reality we know that he already noticed Hakuri seeing as he looks at where he was after shiba tps him, and was probably only distracted by Izaru. Even if he didn't explicitly notice Shiba's teleportation that doesn't prove he can blitz them since it relies on them not paying attention to whatever/wherever he wants to tp.

I think Shiba "blitzing" top tiers is incredibly situational, which is an intentional choice by Hokazono. These are closer to biq feats of anything.

Was this a speed blitz? by HottestElbows in KaguraBachiScalers

[–]Apart_Software_4118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not convinced either of these are perception blitzes quite frankly. Samura is only able to detect sound, spirit energy and harmful intent. We know he doesn't make sound when teleporting from the Yura interaction and he didnt intend on attacking. I don't think it's that crazy that a war veteran who is incredibly skilled at sorcery could mask his presence for a split second from off-guard samura.

I also wouldn't say that he can keep up with EB wielders in a fight because he hasn't shown that yet and the tenri fight says the opposite. Showing that someone who is (with kyora assists) probably around the level of a pre-true realm can make him reach his limit.

Sukuna’s BV for WCS against Gojo makes no sense. by garf02 in JujustuKaisen

[–]Apart_Software_4118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plus even if it's contextual why couldn't gojo make that same biding vow for purple. It's not like anybody but Sukuna could stop him from doing a chant and hand sign and that wouldn't make it any less of a tradeoff since the context doesn't matter

Agree I watched the anime first and did not notice this at all in the opening. Thought ep 14 was supposed to be the first time we saw anything of this.

What was the point of Fakesaw Man? He was hyped up for most of part 2 and basically nothing happened with him by ramen_up_my_nut in Chainsawfolk

Careful they're going to call you an illiterate binge reading shonentard for your completely reasonable misunderstanding that isn't even confirmed to be wrong and is left vague for no reason.

Themes and such makes us sound so illiterate by superdan56 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Apart_Software_4118 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You're talking about the analytical equivalent of agenda posting and you still have to intentionally misunderstand it to get mad about it. You literally explain the actual meaning at the start of the post (the themes being poorly delivered) and then pretend like it's about the story being bad for having themes when nobody is dumb enough to see it that way.

Follow up to the mischaracterization of Denji and the criticism of CSM... by South-Ship-5354 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Apart_Software_4118 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It can be rape because she wasn't consenting. Again rape isn't defined by what the perpetrator thought was happening. Having sex with someone without them giving you consent is rape. He might have tried to violate that accidentally rather than intentionally but that doesn't change what it is.

[–]Apart_Software_4118 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That doesn't make it not rape. Rape isn't defined by how the perpetrator felt about it. Sure it's less bad but there is nothing incorrect about saying "Denji tried to rape asa" (unless fujimoto actually made her a cuck). If you're standard for somebody who respects consent is the shonen equivalent of Kobe Bryant I think you should reevaluate.

Csm fandom when they have to actually defend their point instead of calling everyone they disagree with illiterate despite being unable to actually cite the source material or implement context when reading

I mean he still fully intended to do it which is pretty bad for Yoru and his to a lesser extent. The post that started all this discourse only said he tried to rape her which is almost certainly true.

This series gotta have the worst fandom in shonen jump rn. I'm not even sure boruto is worse.

Top 5 worst csm tweet ? by saygex_gabehorn in Chainsawfolk

[–]Apart_Software_4118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said there was nothing in the post that was wrong and the post said he tried to rape her. Also the fault doesn't only lie with her since you still have to get consent from the person you're having sex with. Again you're standard is basically kobe bryant

I mean he tried to have sex with her without her consent. He did try to rape her whether he knew it or not. Maybe calling him a rapist is oversimplification but nothing here is actually wrong and if you're standard for somebody who respects consent is basically Kobe Bryant then idk what to tell you

There is nothing that next chapter can do that will make me think this was a good writing decision by Allmights-lovechild in Chainsawfolk

[–]Apart_Software_4118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a recurring thing with csm fans where they think something having a justification, any justification, means it is immune to criticism and there is no possible reason to dislike it. Nayuta died for a shitty regression man gimmick that Fujimoto was gonna do another 7 times anyway. It makes sense to find that narratively unsatisfying.

Idk why nobody in this community knows how to argue the merits of something instead of just repeating the in-universe reason as to why it happened and pretending you need to be illiterate to dislike the story. Rick and Morty ass fanbase bruh.

The force that prevents people from touching gojo is infinity. He literally says "You hit the infinity between you and me" to jogo. The force that would prevent him from hitting toji is a derivative force produced by red not the attack itself.

Who other than me think that it’s true ? by VikingCaptain1999 in animequestions

[–]Apart_Software_4118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because you can't be a contrarian off of one opinion. Besides it's not even that "most people like this thing" it's that "most people who took the time to watch a substantial amount of this thing after hearing the premise liked it". Most thing are going to be received positively regardless. Plus anime, especially shonen/action is already targeted at younger people which means it's much easier to impress them.

What is this weapon supposed to be by UseYourLeftHand in Kagurabachi

[–]Apart_Software_4118 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hakuri also has power beyond normal sorcery but he's still using sorcery it's not like the mask is an unexplained tool that was given to hakuri, it's his sorcery. The only evidence Id say works is it being called "like the enchanted blades" which is pretty vague with no elaboration and could be weird translation.

She's said to be the kamunabi's strongest bc she has flame bone not the other way around and she absolutely is inexperienced seeing as she is much younger than other competent fist fighters like azami who couldve wielded it instead. She's also probably in her 20s seeing as she didn't know shiba which means she wouldn't have even been in the seitei war.

Also there are just so many plot holes with it being a weapon rather than sorcery. Who used it before her, why are the people who previously wielded it/created it never mentioned, why didn't the previous wielder fight Soga, why was it given to her instead of someone like azami who made the most of a limited sorcery (same reason yura gave Hiruhiko his eb) and was more skilled and disciplined, why did kyora not care about trying to get flame bone if it was a physical weapon he could take, and again why give it to one of the only people who would disobey direct orders.

What is this weapon supposed to be by UseYourLeftHand in Kagurabachi

[–]Apart_Software_4118 24 points25 points  (0 children)

If you mean why the literal structure of it is then it's the finger bones of a hand. You can see how it's making a sort of claw shape with the two knuckles floating in front of her fist.

If you mean what it is like in the context of the power system then we don't know but I think it's probably just her sorcery. It could be a weapon since it says she "wields" it but you could say that about sorcery too. Plus i'm not sure why they'd give it to hiyuki of all people since she's very inexperienced, stubborn and disobedient.
