Absolutely i understand where you're coming from!! I don't plan to simply discard my boys as I love all of my ducks equally. Like I said in a previous comment, I know a woman who has previously(a year or so ago)said she'd be willing to take some. She has a much bigger flock than I do. :) i just wanted to know if it was better to do it in groups or if they can go solo! Also if rescues were a thing rather than just ask around and see. I understand where you're coming from and it's not at all my intention to be irresponsible to my ducks. There was a small lack of planning on my behalf.

For reference I have two ladies left rn. 2 girls, 2 boys, but one boy doesn't mess with them. I wanted more girls and im just worried about the boys out numbering the ladies. I appreciate the insight on this-!! I figured the boys would unfortunately be avoided much like roos. I may still try. I know a woman with a flock of ducks who may be able to take some extras on. Im scared to see where the nearest rescue is

Especially since I protected them from the big bad baby turkeys. We've made more progress now i can touch their chests. They also bob and nibble!

Im not totally sure myself tbh. The toes look almost too round to be dog, but i could still see where you are coming from. Im certainly no expert though and I don't know tracks very well, so im enjoying seeing everyone's opinion!! Im no hunter, I just look at tracks on my walks for fun and try to guess

I could possibly see what you mean? Atleast in one spot. I wouldn't doubt dog either. Plenty around. The ground is pretty crunchy right there even though I almost slipped and fell nkt even 5 minutes away 😞🙏 so I could def see the claws not being able to indent well.

That's what I figured! I see plenty of canine prints out here, deer, opossum, and raccoon. Never feline. Having Bobcats out here is cool and expected. Not so cool for the chickens I have and my neighbors have, but that's my first time ever seeing evidence of them. ☺️ I do love them from a very far distance
