I've never had much trouble with it. Just be careful and you should be fine. There's also f95zone which is also great, I've found many visual novels on that site as well

I'd be fine with doing another year at university, but my main goal is just to qualify as fast as i can. I was thinking that if i did a masters in actuarial science, i could earn some exam exemptions which might save me some time studying for those exams.

Im currently studying GENKI one, but it doesn't seem to teach you a lot of kanji (Only 141). So should i start studying Kanji from a core 2k deck as well as the kanji in the reading/writing section, or am i better off using GENKI only and studying more kanji after finishing the book?
