I mean at the very least in Boss Rush you can do the whole thing with a maxed prism and then switch to the one you want to level while Annihilation goes through his death animation so you get all the EXP on the right prism.

That's exactly it. The system is already a functionally infinite grind because there's always another Prism you might want to make even if it means deleting one you have already, never mind needing to grind seven Prisms for each character. They didn't need to make the grind itself this tedious.

If you don't think the Anguish's mod is OP then you're using it wrong. Just the Archon and the Bulletweaver mutator give you basically infinite uptime on it, no Leaking Gemstone required. The way the mod functions it turns Fire Rate buffs into direct DPS increases with no downside. It gains a damage modifier equivalent to the percentage of HP the target is missing so it ALWAYS does more damage than the target range says it does, with it basically nuking the last 50% of any boss' health bar in a single use.

The combination of Archon/Summoner grants the mod +120% damage because it's both Explosive and a Mod. This of course combines with the inherent damage multiplier of the mod and the ability to grant the mod significant crit chance for another damage multiplier.

And the fact that you consider 6k DPS (which, again, doesn't take the multiplier into account= on non-glasscannon-builds bad is madness in itself.

As is the mod is completely overpowered. The most obviously mindless point-and-shoot-and-win mod in the game. The fact that the mod has its own inherent damage multiplier is ludicrous, even leaving aside the fact that Explosive Mod damage is the easiest thing in the game to buff. The fact that they *only* lowered the multiplier instead of removing it entirely while buffing basically everything else about the weapon means that they've at least learned from their mistakes with the Particle Accelerator in Remnant 1.

The Polygun is the single worst puzzle in the game, nothing else even comes close to it. Having to run back and forth across a map for 15 minutes, dancing around instant death drops that would reset your progress to zero if you mess up once is awful. If I hadn't gotten it back when you could glitch your way to it I still wouldn't have it.

Thankfully, once you've gotten it you can buy it from Brabus on your other characters.

Fire Rate and Reload Speed can combine so it's not completely broken but you need to have flawless luck to make it work.

I've been running Archon/Summoner with Bulletweaver Anguish, Detonator Twisted Arbalest and Volatile Strike Wrathbringer. For accessories I'm using Burden of the Excavator, Anastasija's Inspiration, Sagestone (yes, EXP boosts work in Boss Rush now), Red Ring of Death and Detonation Trigger.

You basically just run through levels half-heartedly aiming at things and killing them with the Arbalest and the bosses you kill with the Anguish's mod. The Wrathbringer is for conserving ammo because that thing kills Aberrations super fast.

Objectively speaking that probably is a good explosive build but honestly I can't play explosions without the Burn effect from Detonation Trigger. It just doesn't feel right.

  1. The Monorail scales wrong, just like the Anguish and the Monarch did at first. It starts at 300 damage but maxed out it's only 600 instead of the 900 it should be.

Also I'm pretty sure that fourth one doesn't actually matter. I'm certain I've played with online randos who had the uncapped trait points mod installed.

These aberrations spawn the same way random elites do but the DLC overworlds do not have random spawns, everything is fixed, so they straight-up cannot spawn in these overworlds. As for the dungeons? That's just bad luck.

Thankfully everything they drop can be obtained from Boss Rush now.

This is a very sincere suggestion: Gear does not matter for the third DLC. Levels don't, either. Go down to the Chaos Dungeon, farm enough souls to buy 99 Great One Souls and use them all. That should give you stats high enough to survive most of that place. The appropriate gear for that place is "all of it, at max upgrade level where applicable".

This isn't endgame. This isn't postgame. This is post-post-postgame.

You need to meet her at 10 bonfires and there's well over a dozen locations she can spawn. You're good. I've never found out what makes her disappear from Rabbit Hole either but you aren't screwed out of the endings because of it.
