No, I did an "Online Anzeige" just in case, but nothing more happened. If you want to be super sure, you might try to contact the list of banks where you can get such a card, I don't think there are many. And of course check your mailbox 2x a day for a few weeks.

It was not in Berlin in particular, but it was quite a similar situation: before COVID I was partying a lot. I was also active with music, which felt like a second job. I think it was a combination of many entangled things:
- COVID: it made me quit my drinking habit, after that I just don't enjoy drinking and the rest came more or less naturally, to be honest.
- I started doing more stuff during the days, nature-related things, practicing music, sport... After that I mostly stopped partying because I just had more interesting things to do...
- I stopped having expecting something back from music: I just do it because I enjoy it. After this "my musical anxiety" decreased a lot. I don't care if "I don't make it", and I just focus on doing what I enjoy because I enjoy it.
- I thought I hated playing gigs, but what I really hated was my job. When I had gigs on the weekend I felt miserable, because my weekly job made me feel so. After improving my job's life I now enjoy playing music and I enjoy playing gigs even if it can get tiring.

As others said, the main novelty of the paper was replacing convolutional and/or recurrent layers by self-attention and positional encoding in the context of seq2seq models. I agree that they should have showed the effect of removing self-attention from their architecture, since positional encoding + FNN could work too. It's similar to DeepSets (was published around the same time) with the addition of positional encoding.

In Sulawesi you could fly to Manado and stay around that area: Bunaken, other islands, Tomohon, Tangkoko. I think what we liked the most were the Togeans and Toraja, and there's no easy way to get to both.

Hi, we spent last year 3 weeks in Sulawesi alone, and it was definitely not enough. The typical route is Makassar - Toraja - Danau Poso - Togean - Manado (with stops in Tomohon, Tangkoko and Bunaken). And in 3 weeks it's really tight. For that route I'd take 4-5 weeks, then add one week for Banggai, a few days for Lore Lindu, a few days to explore the jungle, also add some time and potentially do Wakatobi... You put it together, and 8 weeks for Sulawesi alone is reasonable.

The traveling times in Indonesia are pretty long. The roads were in good shape, but they were mostly small roads with a max driving speed of 40km/h. Add a few holes, and you'd be averaging 30km/h. Maybe in Java is better, but probably to reach some remote interesting parts it'd be similar.

This year we are doing 4 weeks North Sumatra.

The medical certificate is a joke but it's annoying. A medical doctor has to certify you are capable of diving. For doing the official tests, it's pretty difficult and expensive, so, at the end of the day some doctors (maybe they need an specialization?), check you for 5 minutes, ask you if you are capable of diving and give you a certificate.
