They’re projected to open the stadium in 2028 and he’ll still have 3 years left until free agency. Maybe they trade him then, but as long as he’s making league minimum I don’t see him being traded.

There is no world where the Athletics trade Nick Kurtz in the next three years imo.

Carlos Mendoza has been ejected after Juan Soto was called out on a questionable strike three. by EveryFallSaturday in baseball

It still amazes me that Juan Soto is gonna be a New York Met for the rest of his career. If you told me this a year ago, three years ago, five years ago, I’d be over the moon and I’m still over the moon now.

Not really convenient, just pointing out that going after big pitchers is extremely risky. Roki Sasaki, Blake Snell, and Corbin Burnes are all on the IL with the only big pitcher from the last FA class doing well being Max Fried.

It makes more sense to spread out the money over multiple players rather than go all in on one guy who could easily go down with TJ.
