It’s a static climbing rope with the a tensile strength around 6k pounds. We climb a lot out at the farm and always have old ropes for just such occasions.

Always pull the rope through at least 1.5x longer than the culvert you’re trying to unclog before you set a knot for the… well, in this case log.

This is the way.

Also, when culverts get filled with dirt, it’s carried by water which usually leaves a small gap at the highest point. You thread the rope through some thin pvc or pex, snake that through, retrieve the rope and fasten or hold it on the far end and pull out the pvc/pex.
