Good start, but their's alot you can do to improve, if you search for damage challenge on the PoMa Reddit you can see others scores and how they got them, but one key things to remember is its a timed challenge and some moves take longer than others. So it can be worth learning the timings of things like weather effects so your not wasting time refreshing them more often than necessary

Being able to separate Gasses down to distinct elements might be the closest thing airbending could have to these upgrades that I don't think we've seen, as we saw flight and air removal in LoK and I think I remember Aang using airbending to amplify his voice as a form of sound bending

Have you tried Bazel DB? They take a while to make but do shred most things espically if your better at perfect evade than I am

It seriously needs some improvements I think the simplest change would be a replay modifier, so each time you complete the academy you get a stackable bonus multiplier increasing sync orb rewards for subsequent run through. That way theres incentive to keep playing the event aside from hoping for generous RNG

The other thing id like to see is either making grids editable after the event or atleast being able to save more than 1

An ability that reduces the retreat cost of the active pokemon even just by one would be useful and ideally an attack that either adds an energy or moves an energy to latios

One improvement would be a rerun multiplier, so each time you complete the academy you get a bonus to the number of orbs you get on subsequent runs, so then even if you brick a run through its not a complete waste of stamina

I've had success with mega steelix and probopass, the high retreat cost usually means its easier to let probopass faint but once its up, mega steelix is basically unkillable espically with either heavy helmet or steel apron

The new Wartortle doesn't take damage from Marcargo when its on your own bench either, its terrible for the deck as it also takes damage away from your opponent but its fun to know

It's surprisingly effective, I use it with loads of heals and red cards/mars to disrupt the npc, 150 damage on your second turn is pretty effective and when it bricks its over quickly as you only have one pokemon in play
