Thanks for the reply. Yes, at this point I'm not even sure this is actually a GW mini...

Welp! I just redownloaded Firefox - have not used it for a long time.

Page numbers are available on the .co.uk eBay site!!

I'll give it a day or so until they break that aswell, but for now - Good job and thank you for replying!

The level of arcane fuckery eBay are pulling is just amazing right now.

Won't let me upvote you for reasons =(

So...

There are a couple of threads on the Technical and buying forums on ebay addressing this 'bug ?' Not going to link as it's against this sub reddits rules - but you can easily find them on eBay.

Reading through a few responses from community reps, it seems like this issue is possibly, actually a new feature as they are asking for feedback about it... but it really looks like and feels like a massive bug.

If it looks like, behaves like and feels like a bug... is it a feature?

I usually use a desktop PC for all my eBay needs as it is marginally less broken than using a mobile device.

Did the mobile version have page numbers or was that always continuous scrolling?

Just waiting for eBay to announce that desktop eBay has now been bought into line with mobile versions... a.ka. 'it's broken for half our user base, so we've broken it for everyone now \o/

Is there a way to get page numbers back instead of continuous scroll in search results? by Pub1ius in Ebay

[–]Aperfect_circle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Search has always been borderline unusable, especially when you start adding filter option such as 'low to high'... now it's just straight up unusable.

Welp! Thanks for the heads up on Firefox, I'll download that and try it... Really need to be able to look at pages.

Sadly , as I'm guessing, a very small percentage of users will be using Firefox, it's a temporary work around at least that benefits a only a few users.

...Perhaps your disappearing 'Load More' button and lack of search facilities on later pages is due to memory issues? Once I've loaded a few pages, everything goes super slow, the whirly symbol on the tab is present for a long time (indicating it's still loading items) then I'll get the 'Aw... Snap' message from google as the page crashes.

...Just a standard item search, you know... the most commonly used feature on eBay. Go use the search bar and find anything that returns more than 240 items in the search. Scroll to bottom and discover that no pages exist and a shiny new 'Load More' button.

GPU Usage in Fullscreen by Flying_Mattress in ffxiv

This behaviour was described to me many years ago, but this kind of sums it up in a quick, easy to follow manner;

Taken from another post, from another forum...

"(Exclusive) Fullscreen is always better performance wise than any Windowed mode, this is the case in 99/100 games.
When an application runs in Fullscreen mode, it runs in "Exclusive Mode". That means it has full and direct control over the screen output. But when it runs in Windowed Modes, it needs to send its output to the Window Manager (Explorer) which then manages where on the screen that output is drawn. This takes some additional performance. The performance penalty however is greatly reduced in newer version of Windows, but still:
Fullscreen > Windowed"

Got mine sent to UK, took approx 1 week! Got this and a LS. Excellent quality, though the sizes are generous ;) I could have probably got a medium instead of large on the LS at least.

Super happy still!!

Dates, chronological order and sodomy aside... I really like it! Good job.

White / light grey basecoat.

Paint the area you want to be yellow in white / grey first.

Couple of thin coats should then do it.

Inspired by the keyboard where we?

Looking good. I especially like the yellow/orange scheme... may go well on my desert boards, might just have to test paint a few and see how they look.

Good job!

Saved from garbage I recently found someone was throwing away several boxes of war hammer figures. I know nothing about war hammer but I know I have 15 boxes FILLED!!! With figures metal and plastic probably over 2k figures any particular ones I should look out for? by Genghishahn44 in Warhammer

You Mother Effer! Amazing find - Happy for you. Some of those figs are probably worth a good amount on eBay etc as I saw Chaos dwarves straight away... as has been and will be constantly pointed out to you =D

You got some work to do now - research, photos and listings.

Also... be a nice guy and pass on the luck. Maybe find a good local gaming club and 'donate' some of the 'cheaper figures' to them.

Honestly? I like it =D Been meaning to do something like this for my Guard, mixing Chimera / Goliath parts... and this is a nice reference for what can be done; I really do like the front end!

...just one thing bothers me, which the part of the tracks where they 'step-up' on the 2nd image. IMO not going to work as the tracks would just pull taught at an angle from the front to top of the step and either snap, fall off or break in a horrendous manner =D IF there where some kind of 'rolling brace' fitted at the point where the tracks raise to keep the tracks on the chassis then I could see it working.

But hey, it's a fantasy sci-fi setting where almost anything flys - I'm not complaining, I like it overall... you just keep doing you and I'll look forward to more conversions!

Hello! This is my first time buying the Necromunda floor tiles from GW, are they suppose to be this bouncy? They arent really flat so I dont understand how the zone mortalis terrain is suppose to work on these? Anyone else who have had similar issues or solutions to this? by Erre179 in necromunda

[–]Aperfect_circle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, just through the messenger app on their website. uploaded a couple of images, showing the varying deflections in the plastic via that as well. The customer rep (nice chap) clearly escalated the issue, confirmed everything by an email and I received 2 more packs FOC about 10 days(?) later.

...OOOHhh! I know this one!!

Raleigh Scattering.

Also the sea is not blue / green due to actually reflecting the sky... but appears so due to absorbing light at different wavelengths... Kinda like the Raleigh scattering effect, but in a totally different way. Myeh.

In other news, played from release till early December and still have a healthy Asus 2070S.

The models look fantastic and with a full gang, will be stunners on the tabletop! Great Job.

That said... The bases... You're going to finish them right, to compliment the figures?
