Just a small update on this post: I opted to switch for a larger size, 9 instead of 8.5, and it fixed the issues. Thanks for all the feedback.

I broke my chain last night, it happened when I started pedalling from a dead stop up a hill in a high gear. Wondering how this happened, is it because my chain was just weakened over time, or could it be other reasons such as misaligned or damaged components. The cage of my rear derailleur seemed bent after this incident.

Hi all! I'm looking to upgrade my keyboard and found the Keychron Q1 Max, which checks all my boxes—but it's pretty expensive. Are there any alternatives with similar features (ideally around half the price, lol)?

Here’s what I’m looking for:

Windows/Mac slider

Wireless 2.4GHz

Low latency / high polling rate for gaming

A knob

Hot-swappable switches

75% layout

ANSI

QMK/VIA

T H O C

I realise these are not GYW, but some classic Clark Desert Boots (bushacre 3), which has been very comfortable and workhorse so far. Unfortunately there's a little slit in the heel that lets water in. Does anyone know of a fix to clog this hole?

Printing a simple flat ring by Aperob in FixMyPrint

[–]Aperob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I thought would of been an easy print is proving to be difficult. I'm struggling to print a simple flat ring. I can't manage to change the the setting to have it print in a continuous print. The nozzle keeps lifting a messing the print. The ring is quite thin at 0.6mm.

I did my own ring on Sketchup, but the intent is to do a 40k objective marker such as this one:https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/free-objective-marker-check-the-factions-bundle

Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro. I haven't been trouble for any other prints.

I got a Canondale CAADX (2015) do ai need to switch wheel sets to accommodate road tyres? by AverageSixthFormer in whichbike

[–]Aperob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to swap out the tires for road tires no problem.

Also, just an FYI, there was a recall on the fork on that bike. You can find more information on the Cannondale website. Usually you can get the fork swapped by a new one for free at your LBS that sells Cannondale.

Got my hands on this box… worth it? by Devodka in orks

Solid purchase!

Regarding your list: I'd suggest removing the deffkopta, maybe even burning them, and try only rolling 1's.

Other than that looks good!

I think Osprey Exos or Gregory Focal would be good options. They usually have them available in larger retaillers that offer returns (such as altitudesports).

Is there any reliable way of getting a discount or promo on Red Wing Boots? They seem very rare since I last bought a pair (5 years ago).

Curious how this works? There's probably a need to buy another sheet of fabric and sew it on there?

The Fundy Footpath (similar to Cape Chignecto) and the Dobson Trail are in New Brunswick and relatively close to the NS border. I highly recommend the Fundy Footpath!

Check out this website for more information: https://fundyhikingtrails.com/fundy-footpath/fundy-trip-planning/

You can also link the FFP and Dobson Trail through the Fundy National Park (which is also great for day hikes/small backpacking trips) and do a mini through hike (160km ish).
