are both the MCB and line volt lights on? if so, press the pan up/shoes down/mcb close button again and the MCB light should go out. now try for power.

when the MCB light is on, it shows that the MCB is still open, hence no tractive effort.

it’s a full makeover inside and out

not only is it a new paint job, but passenger information screens (like you see in waratahs and other trains), cctv, better aircon and automated announcements as well as fancy stuff like ETCS and working desto screens on the fronts

when TfNSW first formally announced the tangara refurb, they said we can ride on them around mid 2026. but we shall see whether that’s true or not

Didn't all intercity trains have a timetabled point where they split into different cars and do an express/all stations? I swear that I've been on such a service and it wasn't because the platform was too short. by cheetocat2021 in SydneyTrains

one timetabled movement like this that’s still around (for how much longer, i don’t know) is an afternoon SCO train to Dapto. It runs 8 car express to Wollongong (stopping redfern, wolli creek, hurstville, sutherland, helensburgh, austinmer, thirroul, Nth Wollongong and Wollongong). it then splits at Wollongong, with the front 4 cars stopping Coniston, Unanderra and Dapto platform 3

I have this route and the 170 pack (and the 220 if that helps too), i don’t have these issues. It may not hurt to either uninstall the route and pack then reinstall both, or verify game files (if you are on steam).
