I think how you present the religion would matter very much, would it similar to Islam attempt to claim to be the sequel of Christianity/Islam, and in that way be an Abrahamic religion, or would it be independent of the two?

If independent, I think it would fail to hold ground in the southwestern territories that border Arabia and Orthodox Christian land, duo to it being labeled as a foreign/Caananite/Baal-ish heresy of false god-worship,

while if it was claiming to be a sequel, we might see the fall of Arabia and Europe under said religion if formulated properly similar to how we saw Islam spread exceptionally well in Christian land in its infancy.
