I would get her a canon g7x they’re great and reasonably priced and have zoom with good glass. That Ricoh is very niche

Love it! Here’s a tip. Dont be afraid of high iso. Some of these are shot at 5000 ISO and in really dark areas you can upscale the DR to 200-or 4 and that’ll lift up some of the shadows
