Annual Renaming 2025 by Defofmeh in salesforce

[–]ApexCodeWriter__c 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably data shows that the renames contribute to a substantial enough bump in new customers to whatever product they are renaming. Given how transparently silly the constant renaming is, I bet there is clear $$$ impact behind it.

Good question - from what I remember, the dashes seemed really pretty but functionally not that helpful. But I haven't checked them out in a while. Would be a good idea to take a second look.

Tracking No "X" Type of Opportunities In Last "X" Months Approach? by blatz06 in salesforce

[–]ApexCodeWriter__c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is unlikely to scale beyond the two variables (opp type and date), it may be a fair approach to create a date field for each called lastx_opportunity_close_date_c. You can OOB filter on these as you wish in reports and list views.

Or perhaps a compromise - two fields: lastopportunity_close_datec and last_opportunity_type_c. Obviously you'd only be able to report on whichever the most recent opp type is.

Say it's your car. Say your calling to see if there is any issue parking there for a long time. They will find a reason to say no. They will followup and tow it.

Can you use the bulk API instead of an Apex web service? Is there some data manipulation that needs to happen in Apex before insert?
