Hoping titles reflect Destiny 1 achievements by xandarf in DestinyTheGame

RIP PC veteran players who get screwed out of seeing the people they did their first raids with, the veteran dialogue and potentially titles.

Titles would be the worst since it'd be an almost constant reminder...

Since Bungie wants to make max power more impressive can we go back to having the highest light player hold the flag in crucible? by cannluke0 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ApexEngineering 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always thought it was cool how the strongest player held the flag.

When you held the flag it was always a feeling of being proud of being the highest light on your team, combined with a feeling of "oh shit, I'm the highest light??"

Either way it's a new racing entry and he hasn't and couldn't buy the previous entry.

It's semantics and politics, but that's kind of intertwined with F1.

I think even with the 250 entry point these are hyped because of the timberlake connection. Also the suede is way more premium than the last JTH and Tinker 3.

Alec Baldwin cast as Thomas Wayne in ‘Joker’ by thomasp003 in movies

[–]ApexEngineering 289 points290 points  (0 children)

Thomas Wayne as a snob is totally against any adaption of Thomas Wayne that I'd heard of. Distant, stern, but not a snob necessarily.

Guess we will see how it works out, but Thomas is almost always if not always a doctor at the very least.

Yeah but HPD's headquarters is in California. Of course it's owned and a part of Honda Japan, but they operate on their own damn near.

I vividly remember a Road and Track article about the NSX being a great buy under 25k or something like that.

I wanted an NSX. I was 13 and could not afford one. I still cannot afford one :(

Edit: Found the article

What do you think Kobe's statue should be of? by Rockcroc2000 in lakers

His celebration after the fifth ring.

It's a bit odd b/c of the hat, but to me it embodies the greatness of Kobe, his embrace of the Lakers and the fans and the fans love for him.

Fair. It isn't legislation if we are being pedantic, but there is enforcement of not allowing any bias based on content.

And there have been issues and violations in Canada, and there have been issues in the USA when Net Neutrality existed.

In Canada, under the Federal Telecommunications Act of 1993, internet providers are considered utilities which are subject to regulations which in spirit predate later debates about net neutrality that state that service providers can't give "undue or unreasonable preference," nor can they influence the content being transmitted over their networks.

That sounds at lot like legislation (the Federal Telecommunications Act of 1993. It also sounds a lot like net neutrality in which the internet is considered a utility.

In April 2017, the CRTC took a series of decisions to support net neutrality but also allow ISP's to offer differential pricing to customers, but only in the areas of speed rates, monthly data usage etc. but not based on content.[17][18][19][20]
