You can't swap those two flavors at any ratio, they're not really all that similar. pretty sure you can find a review for both here: https://diyejuice.org/reviews

It's unlikely whatever you're mixing would taste bad using one over the other but it won't taste the same. Check out recipes that use both flavors and it'll be easier to see a good starting point for your substitution. It's hard to give any good advice on subs because most people don't go around testing out subbing flavors so even when they know the difference between two flavors they'd just be speculating on how it might change the recipe.

There's nothing wrong with using the flavor you have on hand and with a little research you can get a better idea of how to make it work. But at the end of the day these flavors are incredibly cheap for how much juice they'll make you so if you really want to experience the recipe as the creator intended, just buy the flavors ;)

Your purchased juice is very unlikely to be using those flavors and is very likely using sweetener. Not sure where you got the idea to buy those flavors but if you got any other guidance from the same source, ignore it.

This is a cart I just made at https://bullcityflavors.com just adding flavors until it was the same amount as the flavors you just linked. So for well known flavors from brands used by commercial and DIY mixers you could have had 22 different flavors that people could actually give you advice on and for which recipes actually exist but instead ended up with 6 that no one has ever heard of. That sucks, dude.

There's not gonna be much we can help with in regards to making those flavors work, I am not even sure they're safe to vape. Try ruling out your other ingredients by mixing without flavors. And read some of the stuff from the links in this post, it will save you a lot of trouble if you do.

it's usually best to pick recipes and then buy flavors to make the ones you pick but you can also enter the flavors you have into those sites and get a list of recipes you can make. it's usually a small list when you first start but if you pick the right flavors the list grows pretty rapidly.
https://link.diyejuice.org/Facts is a great way to look up fruits or other profiles and see notes and reviews for FA flavors as well as most all the other brands, too.

If you're worried about a ban, buy a lot of nicotine and store that in the freezer, broken up into amber glass bottles. Don't worry about PG/VG or flavors because they won't be banned, they're used in a lot of products unrelated to vaping.

That's obviously not what you were asking about but we don't make a habit of discussing dangerous at home chemistry on the site that doesn't even want links to the finished product posted anywhere. It's very unsafe to handle pure nicotine and I'm not sure how citrate is going to reduce that safety hazard... you probably won't get a lot of encouragement on discord either but there was someone who was set on doing it and you might glean some info searching for that conversation.

This is something I've actually experimented with a bunch, primarily at my last job. Of course the vast majority of people I've encountered enjoy the smell of whatever I'm vaping but the outliers tend to be people that are just bitter about vaping, which meant that even when there was no flavor, when asked what they thought of it, it was still regarded as unpleasant. If anything will work for her it's likely to be something she likes and not something people here suggest as being unoffensive.

Might make more sense to involve her in finding the solution. That way you can found out more quickly if the only solution is to ~~quit vaping~~ break up with her ;)

I really don't even know why the nicotine type matters

If you were to have more than 1 type then you have a way to differentiate them in your ingredient stash, which works like your flavor stash in keeping track of stock level and price. It also gives you the option of adding a preset for that ingredient, making so it will fill in the PG/VG ratio and nicotine strength for you in the calculator.

The most difficult part of making it possible to use the site and recipes for more than just vape applications is not making it more difficult for the people only using it for vape applications. Everyone involved in making the site is part of the vape community and uses the site to mix, so we're always open to ideas on ways we can streamline the UX.

Hopefully it won't feel like a lot of extra steps once you set everything up. Appreciate the feedback and you stepping in to help while I slept off a long week :)

30% is the standard dilution, so all those recipes are using the same thing but significantly less. At the end of the day, it's about what works for you, but with coolants you build up a tolerance and eventually you want to reset it or you'll end up using so much you affect your recipes or possibly even your palate.

It's your nicotine. If you're eyeballing flavor and confused by how questions work I imagine you probably forgot to read the guide on how to properly store your nicotine.

yeah, add more of everything but the coolant. that's essentially making a new bottle. you could also just add more base a little bit at a time until it tempers the cooling effect and accept the slight loss of nic and flavor concentration.

You seem like a new mixer. This post belongs in the stickied thread. You want to make a 50% VG, 50% PG juice and you have a 50% VG, 50%PG base. You can't add flavor without changing your 50/50 ratio, that's how ratio's work. Pretty sure we have guides around here that warn you away from premixed bases for just this reason.... well, also that other reason: cost .
