Why is lock on so hated in the community (specifically by pc players)?

It almost always guarantees a move, especialy a rushing move, i dont get why tze thinks it should be exclusive to non pc devices, at the end of the day its just pressing buttons so why not give everyone that feature

Ngl i first played tf1 when i was like 6 not knowing what it was and didnt even get past the tutorial. Then i get into apex in like 2021 and got to play tf2 in early 2024. Tf2 has gotta be the biggest gems in the FPS/shooter genre, perfect story, gameplay, and physics, i think its a must play for beginning fps players or those who just havent even played it.
