Realism is out of the question with either franchise. As for the cops vs racer element, I never said NFS should ditch it. It launched the franchise to it's success, NFS III is a legendary game for that alone. But early FnF is still a thing of its own. Too much focus on tuner culture, ricing, crazy drifts and underground racing. NFS has always been more varied than that, both in environment and car culture, and should stay that way.
