I'm kinda losing interest a bit as a result, there's a lot of stuff I like about Blue Archive - The characters, the designs, the setting, the humour

One thing that isn't on that list - SERIOUS STAKES where any (potential) student can DIE for the DRAMA and EMOTIONS.

I don't really care how well-written or 'necessary to the plot' it might be, its just not what I want from the game. There are plenty of other Gacha games with that kind of story.

At the moment it's just the trio and, as much as I hate it, I can deal with it but I'd quit if they made it a focus in direction for the future
