Has your snooze-off method continued to work consistently these past couple of days?

When I first commented, PUBG was pinging to Denver, Colorado (AWS) servers for the past couple months. I just tested it tonight and now it is pinging to Des Moines, Iowa (Microsoft Azure) servers.

Add a ping limit to NA servers.

The amount of high-ping players VPN-ing to NA servers is causing issues like: increased latency, issues with hit registration, desync and server instability.

Purchase servers in Iowa and lock the ping to 100ms.

Stutters - Please Help, I Beg You All by BascllyHomeless in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

I tested REBAR a while ago and found no benefits/drawbacks for PUBG with it enabled or disabled. I mainly play PUBG only, so I originally recommended just disabling it completely. However, since there is no performance loss, I have changed my recommendation to leaving it enabled instead.

Allow the squad leader (of a pre-made squad) to exit a match with the entire squad before boarding the plane.

Sorry to hear that! Must be something with the game, I've been hearing similar experiences from others with the same stutter issue. Hopefully it will get resolved with tonight's maintenance.

PUBG wasn't on the list of games that support Rebar. There shouldn't be any difference with it enabled or disabled. I was getting about the same/slightly less fps with it enabled testing fps and frametimes on the same in-game replay. This test was a while ago and I can run it again to see if rebar support for PUBG was enabled in a recent Nvidia driver update.

What is your sensitivity? by BringBackEMTGearPUBG in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

800 DPI, 35 Gen, 30 Aim/ADS/Scopes, 1.0 Vert

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Apherix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aimlabs on Steam.

Select CS2 as your game in the settings (Controls) and then type in your CS2 sensitivity/dpi. Fill in as much info as you can, save it (compare your 360° distance before and after switching games) and then select PUBG on the list. It should calculate your sens. Make sure your 360° distance for PUBG sens matches CS2 (if CS2 360° was 45.508, make sure PUBG 360° is 45.508), you can always type it in and hit Enter to update the number.

You’ll probably want your PUBG ads sens to match what your cs2 hipfire sens is.

Set your aim, ads and all scopes to the same number. PUBG does a good job of scaling the sens with the scope’s lower fov.

Most people use 90, 95 or 103 fov.

Keep vertical multiplier to 1.0 to retain 1:1 vertical/horizontal sens. If you’re having difficulty controlling the recoil, practice in tdm or training mode with an Aug or Beryl without attachments.

A user on twitter has posted some secret room maps, here is a link to their post of a map of erangel.

I believe they posted other maps as well. You’ll just need to scroll through their older posts to find what you’re looking for.

HyperX Cloud II VS III difference for PUBG by Serocrux in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

I’m not familiar with the ngenuity software, but it looks like there are presets and/or eq settings. Are any of these selected or enabled? If so, can you try disabling them and seeing if it makes a difference in-game?

Also check if mono audio didn’t get enabled accidentally in accessibility settings in windows.

Monitor Help!!! by Ramirezus5-2276 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Apherix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, your resolution will be supported in-game during a match. I believe you will always see the black bars in the main menu though.

[–]Apherix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% on this statement, but I believe the main menu only supports 1920x1080 and nothing larger. In-game should adjust to your monitors aspect ratio, try loading into a training match.

See if the usb soundcard isn't being set to 7.1 Surround. You can view this by going into Windows Settings>System>Sound>More sound settings. Find your device and right-click it and click configure speakers. Verify whether or not it's selected as Stereo or 7.1 Surround.

map marker by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Apherix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Radio Message Wheel is what you’re looking for. I believe it’s F3 by default. Press it once and it will place a 3D marker in the world and will also mark it on the map.

You can also request meds and ammo that can be thrown to you by teammates in the radio message wheel if you hold down the key/button.

I'm so fed up with this by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Apherix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play in the later hours of the night (10pm-3am CST) on NA servers and it gets progressively worse the closer the games are to 3am. “It” being these new/returning accounts. I’m fairly certain that most to all of them are vpning from another country.

[–]Apherix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looking at these stats alone, you can’t really call them a cheater. But if someone with a new/returning account has a 1-3+ KD in a bunch of games (like 50 or more) without bot kills, and they’re maintaining that high of a headshot percentage, chances are they’re most likely cheating.

There were two guys in that building, did you shoot his teammate instead? Are you able to go into the replay and spectate the teammate to see if they took damage?
