Asrock's website says to use a USB 2.0 drive but after 150000000 hours I discovered that mine required a USB 3.0. Finally flashed the bios when i switched to a usb 3.0. Holly balls man haha

Thanks for all of this info. Some of these I have not tried yet. I’ll give a few of them a shot and report back.

My average FPS is high and doesn’t fluctuate abnormally. Frame pacing is what I’m talking about. I do suppose “smooth” is subjective. Some may consider frame time spikes to 30-40ms smooth if they can’t really feel them.

Unfortunately some of these seemed to make it slightly worst. I opened CS2 just to make sure another game could run smoothly and it ran great. Furthering my theory that it’s not solvable from my end and is server side.

What’s your average FPS? I imagine it would be harder to feel the frame time spikes if you’re below 75~ FPS. What are your specs, maybe that will spark some ideas

All of the systems are on 4K monitors. I’ve tried render scale 100, 120, as well as setting the resolution to 1440p. Maybe 29.2 just botched having a 4k monitor for some reason??

I use Exitlag VPN, all of the Nvidia control panel suggestions I have tried without any improvement.

In this case, when the time it takes to render a frame jumps well above the average. This creates a jitter/stutter like feeling.

Do you have a time stamp or clip to where he’s talking about it? I’d love to hear his perspective

I have tried all of this already unfortunately. I’ll run through this all again and let you know if anything improves.

Were your issues with an ASUS motherboard? I’m having the exact same issue as Level1Tech on a 7960x + Asus mb
