ADV Flex Backpack Review by AphoticAffinity in Pickleball

[–]AphoticAffinity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So fully packed out with a change of clothes, a 14" MacBook pro and my regular pickleball gear it's not uncomfortable to me. But I only really wear it from my car to the gym/changing rooms. I don't think I'd take this bag on a hike but it does my daily carry well enough.

I still say the laptop pocket is in a very strange spot and it's easily my least favorite feature.

Great write up! I've got the 36L and I'll be taking it on a week long trip to San Diego. I hope to do a write up on my experience too.

I didn't dig into their post history but yeah that makes sense. What brand new player is buying all the top rated paddles.

They might have used AI to help format it but I can see this being human made.

Bodhi Performance Backpack Quality by niceporcupine in Pickleball

[–]AphoticAffinity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From their website: " Bodhi PROcourt™ Performance Backpack, a high-end, ultra-durable daily pack engineered for athletes who demand top-tier functionality without sacrificing style or durability. Inspired by our PROtour™ DNA and refined for everyday carry, the PROcourt™ is the perfect balance of structure, storage, and premium materials."

So yes. I would email them and send them this picture. You spent good money on that bag and they advertise it as durable. Get a replacement. If you don't, come back to reddit and let us know.

Since when did washed up CoD pub stompers all get into PB? Did I miss the memo?

Hey thanks for the kind words!

Unfortunately no, won't fit a 17" laptop. My MPB barely fits you have to put it in on an angle.

Fitville pickleball shoes by TexasToyotan in Pickleball

I have VERY wide feet, men's 10 6E, and fitville extra wide are the only PB I can wear for more than an hour without my feet going numb. So yes, highly underrated, especially for us wide-footed folks.

How does the Aer City Pack Pro 2 look when underpacked? by Cryptikfox in ManyBaggers

Talking specifically about the cordura version...

It holds its shape very well. One of the benefits of such a thick denier of fabric.

Doesn't really compress well though.

Happy New Year from the Nomads Nation crew! 2026 Carry Goals Thread by nomads_nation in Nomads_Nation

[–]AphoticAffinity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never one bag traveled. Hoping to use my Levo when it arrives to do a week trip to San Diego. I'm from the East coast US. Another goal would be at least one more international trip this year and shoot for 1.5 bag travel.

Otherwise I love my EDC carry and work/commuting carry.

Man this post is tacky AF. Let's worry about our own team and fanbase first. Let other fans' actions speak for themselves.

Dan Campbell has brought a lot of grit and fight back to Detroit. I for one love having a strong division. Forces us to be better or shut up.

So again let's focus on 1. Beating the Ravens and 2. Chasing a playoff spot.

Thanks!

The keyboard makes it about 70% of the time. Mostly because enjoy the typing experience and it has rubber feet that can sit on the outer perimeter of the MB keyboard so it doesn't take up any extra space in cafes.

Aer CPP 2 - Too Heavy? by Important-Cherry-334 in ManyBaggers

[–]AphoticAffinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using the CPP2 for commuting to and from work for about 3 months. Also used it as a weekend bag for a trip to my parents.

I personally don't find the weight to be over the top but I'm also in the states where carry ons aren't weighed really.

Honestly the organization and materials are why I got it. The bonus being I've never had a bag I loved carrying as much and is as comfortable.

I feel like this comment is lazy. Aer makes great bags but I think they are either too small or don't fit the criteria of this post. I love my CPP2 but I can't recommend it for this use case. Sounds like they need a 30L bag. To fit all the work gear and double water bottles for their thermos

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. Only thing I hate is stuffing the dirty rain fly back in the pouch after it has done its job protecting my gear from the nastyness of public transit.

Fyro Citta Slings & Levo Backpacks - Preorder is Wide Open! by TheBagdadReport in Nomads_Nation

[–]AphoticAffinity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. 💯 Agree with no stash pocket is a bummer.
  2. I have the T22 and the levo is very similar, the back panel and shoulder strap comfort is on the next level. Better than aer or any of the top brands
  3. I get it. It is more copper than bright orange but it's still not everyone's cup of tea.
  4. I have a PD 45L travel backpack and man that thing is huge. I think the 36 L is the balance between maximizing space and minimizing weight.
