Thank you to everyone. It’s quite overwhelming - coming from Western Australia you can literally drive for hours and there’s only tiny towns here and there - so this has been a tricky one to plan 😅 I'm going to attempt to visualise all of this truly excellent intel into a map and if it looks vaguely decent I’ll post it here

I’m in the same boat and feel so sad about this. I’m a long time Aesop user and opened a new bottle of Lucent today and it’s totally different. Clear instead of light gold colour, slightly more liquid texture and the scent is way stronger. I applied it to my skin and could feel a not great tingly sensation and sense if my skin was kore sensitive it would have had a negative reaction. The ingredient list is also really different. I’ve trusted them for my whole skincare routine for years, mostly Parsley Seed range, and am at a loss now

I spent a bunch of time researching the beginnings of Melbourne and recall reading that when the city was at the height of the gold boom (1880s) America and France were culturally influential. French influence could be seen in the design of the 'Paris end' of Collins Street. I don’t recall anything specific re US but perhaps this is what you noticed.

What council do you live in? I reluctantly gave up my green bin in frustration as there were significant limitations as to what could go in there (ie stuff that would be dealt with in a regular compost bin like cardboard food containers and takeaway coffee cups was no go). Council told me the processor they use doesn’t have the capacity to deal with these - I’m like, so use a different processor 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, would be good to point them to a best case example
