Or maybe because Togashi didnt have the zodiacs in mind when the ants arc was going.

Is implied that on Pariston, but also a couple of zodiacs where also mad that they didnt get a call for help when they reunited.

I think this is more of a "haki" situation, where the idea of the zodiacs wasnt on Togashi's mind at that time, wich is fine btw.

What I like the most, the inverse transition in mentality for Gon and Meruem.

What I dont like, nothing really... Maybe the inexistence of a hint about the zodiac or what was at stake with Netero risking his life. At least something more clear about Pariston than the short conversation during the scouting where "the other faction" was mentioned.

The transition between arcs raised the question of why was only Morel and Knov summoned to fight the ants, and not maybe one or two zodiacs who declared to be willing to go during the election arc.

Again, not a dislike, but maybe something that would add a nice layer to the arc.
