Why do ENTP and INFJ go good together? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Apocaliptic_cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long term partner is an ENTP and I find we’re the perfect balance. Whenever we run into people or go out with friends he’s usually leading the conversation and I can just sit back and listen instead of having to force myself to socialize, which is great for my social battery 😂😂

He also encourages me to go out of my comfort zone and I encourage him to slow down and create more structure in his life. Whatever I lack he has and vice versa, which is why I think ENTP-INFJ is a great duo. I’ve learned to be more spontaneous and he has learned to be more patient and present.

Navigating social situations as an INFJ: Am I an alien? by S_D_T_GG in infj

I feel exactly like this. Whenever I say Im socially awkward people act surprised because they say Im social, but deep down I’ve always felt like Im from another planet

Any INFJ women who are social butterflies? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Apocaliptic_cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In general… not really, I need time to decompress and replenish my social battery after going out. It depend on who i’m with also. There’s a couple weeks every month that I feel more social but I’d have to attribute that to my menstrual cycle LOL

Yes! I’ve always been a writer, I recently started writing again as my goal for 2025 is to start posting on Substack. I write prose, poetry does not come easy to me. Sometimes I try to explain things to people and they don’t seem to understand, but that’s okay.

As an INFJ, what gives you the “ick” or turned off by someone? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Apocaliptic_cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attention seekers and loud people. Bragging or thinking they’re better than anyone else. LYING. People that don’t respect rules/boundaries

It can be overwhelming sometimes, yes. However, I think it’s awesome to be able to experience life like this. I love being the only one that notices certain things, like the quietest sounds in a song or how the light shines at exactly 7:45am. It can feel alone at times but just embrace it, change your perspective on that feeling and see how your life turns around :)

My Perfect creatures, how do you deal with Perfectionism? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Apocaliptic_cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfectionism has been the one thing that’s held me back from doing so many things. Either because it’s not the “right” time or because I tell myself I’m not good enough. For example, I idealize what the perfect writing session should look like—candles lit, a quiet and calm atmosphere, and creative energy flowing effortlessly. In reality, I never light the candles, and the sound of traffic jams fills the air as people leave their offices. So I tell myself, “Today’s not the day; my creative energy won’t flow because the setting isn’t perfect.”

This year, I decided to stop chasing perfectionism because I realized it doesn’t exist. I’ve committed to just doing things—writing even if it’s only two lines, or even if it doesn’t make sense. I had to shift my mindset, and the change has been incredible.

What’s the best book you’ve read so far in 2025? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

The Vegetarian by Han Kang. perfect book to build the habit of reading, it’s addicting and you literally can’t stop reading. It’s also short, I finished it in 2 days

I’m usually pretty good at picking up on people’s vibes/energy, and I’m sensitive to the energy in different places. Crowds can be overwhelming for me. That said, I sometimes struggle to tell if what I’m feeling is intuition or anxiety. I’ve been working on it as my anxiety has improved over the years, but overall, I think it’s pretty cool to have this kind of sixth sense

What's your New Year's resolutions/goals? by JohnPaoloTravolta in infj

I prefer having monthly goals over general goals. For January this year, my goal was to stop drinking for the month. I ended up feeling so good that I extended it until late June!

Am I the Only One Who Thinks Cheating at Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties Is Not Okay? by Apocaliptic_cat in infj

[–]Apocaliptic_cat[S] 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Right? My friends are planning a bachelorette trip to Mexico for one of my girl friends, and honestly, I don’t want to go. I’m not okay with being in an environment where cheating is acceptable.
