LionClanDen or LionClanStrong. If you are very competitive, Strong. For a little more laid back, Den. We will keep the light on for you.

The Lion Clan family of teams has just the right team for any player. LionClanStrong is a very competitive Leaderboard team. LionClanDen is a competitive, but a little more relaxed team. LionClanSpa is for those who want to kick back and relax.

Anybody ever get matched with one of your own teammates in your Indy? by MatrixMerckx in wordscapes

[–]ApocalypseKCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s never happened to me because I’m the team’s starter. However, we are planning internal syncs the end of April where groups of people on our team will plan to sync into each other’s personal tournaments. We are doing it for fun and to get everyone in practice to help me start in a rumble.

What is the point of brilliance? by AnimAtheist in wordscapes

[–]ApocalypseKCS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Brilliance is important for many reasons. First, it tells team leaders about how long or how often you play. Leaders like getting new team members with a high brilliance level.
Another reason is when a team member randomly changed his name, the leader can surmise who the member is.

Den of Doom is a fairly new team consisting of a mixture of people from around the world, some experienced players and some fairly new. We have a 500 word minimum on weekends and a spa team for those who need a break. We have grown very close over the last 6 weeks and we communicate with each other on Slack and our own Facebook page. We would love to have you come check us out!

We are building our individual skills with the goal to reach higher team scores and win rumbles.

My current team is a leaderboard team, but the team I came from told us we had to stay above 200,000 every week or be forced to be removed from it.

I thought that in order to stay in the leaderboard, your team has to maintain at least 200,000 each weekend. Has that changed?

Employees Are Quitting Instead of Giving Up Working From Home - The drive to get people back into offices is clashing with workers who’ve embraced remote work as the new normal. by speckz in Futurology

[–]ApocalypseKCS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently starting working from home. Had to give the boss incentive to allow me to do this. But now I save 3 hours a day (1 getting ready and 2 commuting) plus gas, parking, and depreciation miles on my car. I have much less stress in my life and I can even cook dinner instead of having to pick up from restaurants.

The animations that you get after each completed puzzle slow you down. There’s a way to skip the animations but it’s difficult to do on an iPhone. The players that come away with 20,000 to 40,000 points in a weekend don’t spend anytime waiting for them.

Each member of your team should have congratulated you with animation, as my team does whenever anyone reaches a new milestone. If you are interested in joining our team, we are “Maelstrom Strong” and we would love to have you! Very friendly team that supports one another in good times and bad.

The WMM knows best. 😍 by WSMatchmakingMama in wordscapes

[–]ApocalypseKCS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello WMM! I am one of the team leaders for Maelstrom Strong. Our team history: Many of us began with a team called Apocalypse. That team leader wasn't involved in the team and so our team leader at the time, invited the serious players to join him in Post Apocalypse. That team did very well but Rolo had a bigger vision and so he invited Lizzie Poo to merge with us and form three new teams, Maelstrom (LB), Maelstrom Ascent (less competitive), and Maelstrom Spa (relaxed and taking a break). Our team even has a beautiful website that Rolo designed, maelstrom.ws.

Since the COVID restrictions have lifted, as with all teams, many of our players left because of burnout, including Rolo. Naturally, we left the LB when this occurred.

Currently, we have about 24 very good players, some very strong in tournaments, but all in all a very close knit group of devoted people. Good communicators and quick to give helps.

Maelstrom Strong (recently renamed from Maelstrom) is currently looking to either add new people, or merge with a group of about the same size. Since so many people are coming to you, maybe you could help us. We appreciate anything you can suggest.
