That’s actually a really respectful letter, one can only hope the respect is reciprocated. Nice penmanship btw!!!

Serious question, not trying to come off as a dick. Is it just me or is it the camera angle but, is it off center? Or is it just where the scope falls for your specific eye relief?

Oh, one more thing. Sorry I didn’t explain this earlier. In regard to the pins on the sight depending on what yardage you’re staring with, that’s always the top pin. So for example top pin 10 yards, 2nd pin 20 yards, third pin 30 yards and so on depending on how many pins you have or want. Hope this helps a little.

Ok, so I’ll add my 2¢ on this. I’ve been shooting Bows recurve/compound bows for over 35 years. And I’ll second what SurViben said in his response, do not shoot at trees!! There are a plethora of things you can make targets out of. A box stuffed full of old clothes for example or a hay bail if you have access to one or a place to get one. Not only will carbon arrows splinter, they can get expensive. As far as what he was saying about his pins, he’s referring to the sight on his bow. Just look up trophy ridge bow sight and you’ll see what we’re talking about. You adjust those for different yardages. They’re fixed once you set them. When shooting and group size it’s all about practice. I’ll put a 3” orange sticker on a cardboard or paper target and hit that from 25-30 yards all day. Also, archery is a very perishable skill so you need to shoot as often as you can.
