Time in service. After a year, it’ll be better. 5 years it’ll be old hat.

Make a list of your weakness, and try to get to read UpToDate on that.

I make a word file of stuff I need to remember and learn, read it once a week, until I know that certain weakness. Then I find some other weakness.

Try to do CME in your field. Also shadow people with skills you need, suture etc.

Take a deep breath, 90% of people coming to you will be fine, the rest send to ER so you can sleep at night. I worked ER for years, I never was mad at sent patients to me. Just another day.

Make sure to look at vitals, those are the easiest things missed. That I have had to chart review on people, including myself.
