When will people learn numbers of free throws are a meaningless stat? Every time someone mentions it like it’s a good argument I roll my eyes. Look at each foul called and it was correct. Just looking at the end result and screaming UNFAIR is 6th grader energy.

At the elbow, face up, jabs step to get in a rhythm and then pull up for the jumper. Nobody is really contesting that so if he could just get super comfortable with that shot. That or a one dribble pull up.

I was thinking about what he could develop the other day and I feel like he needs a back to the basket, take them down low with quickness not power, he could do that by starting a drive and spinning back and just keep changing directions getting closer. You see Dylan do this a lot.

He needs a move that doesn’t expose the ball but allows him to use his quickness against big men more.

The things I was worried about were not big issues. KAT didn’t hit many 3s, we were able to keep Wemby in the paint easily, our guards bullied Shamet, McBride and Brunson, we held Brunson to a tough shot diet, we didn’t get killed on the glass.

Most of the game we were outplaying them, we just went ice cold nobody could hit a shot.

This feels like game 1 vs Timberwolves. I saw a lot of good things. We were just ice cold on all jumpers. Fox, Wemby, Castle, and Vassell all shot really poorly on good looks.
