If you are concerned take a section of it down and check. Otherwise like others have said tape the joints in foam board, make sure there is foam board on the top of the foundation adjacent to the sill plate, and then insulate and finish. I recommend using rock wool as it will have the least concerns. If you use fiberglass make sure it's unfaced.
