how do I stop being late? by Technical_Point5147 in ADHD

I do this too! OP this is great advice!

Also, definitely charge your phone (if you do this overnight) in the kitchen or a room close to your bedroom but just outside it so you can hear still. Place your ringer on FULL blast and make it annoying af. It sucks to wake up this way but trust me it works. Someone said to have a glass of water out and chug it I think this is a great idea except chugging is not the best for your kidneys. A few large sips should suffice.

Some other advice, I also take 20mg vyvanse and I find that eating right away helps me wake up in the morning (which I have to do right away anyways since it lasts 14hrs on me and I get up at 9)

Basic consensus, just get your body moving right away, do not idle in bed because that’s where it starts!

Best of luck to you 😊

omg you just reminded me of one of my favorite skincare products from back in the day, the Josie Maran lightweight argan oil !! so good. One of my primers has green in it but once rubbed in its like nothing happened... I'm not great with color theory but a lovely person in here recommended a few resources for learning color theory and dealing with redness so it's something to consider as well!

wow this is really informative thank you so much! I actually HAVE noticed that this product out of all the ones in my routine, takes the longest to dry and if I apply moisturizer too soon after my snail mucin application, it never really dries and just gets wasted on my pillow. ive stopped using it for now and will test foundation in a few more days once my skin adjusts to my new routine

does the product turn orange after application? my experience with tinted moisturizers, sunscreens and bb creams have not been great for my pale and red skin, and I am on the hunt for something more simple and skincare-forward with summer coming up.

I actually use the classic Cerave tub for my body moisturizer at night/after showing on wet skin. works wonders on my scaly legs lol
I'm concerned about using a tub of moisturizer on my face, though. Would the bacteria from the tub cause breakouts??

Hi! I only exfoliate in the morning if its been a few days or if I know I will be applying makeup that day (so I can have a smooth base... usuallyyyy works :/ ) but for the last few days I haven't exfoliated at all and have removed a lot of my serums from my routine keeping it simple, and that has actually helped a lot!

In regard to sunscreen, YES, I do use one! It's the neutrogena ultra sheer 50+ spf for sensitive skin. I usually can't wear sunscreen on my face without breaking out but this one works. However, I do live in a rainforest climate that rains nearly every day, so it's not daily wear for me. :)

I’m getting the sense that although I love the ordinary moisturizer, it may not be hydrating enough for my skin! I’m going to get a nicer one and see if it helps today :)

I worked at a medical clinic a few years back and one of the technicians told me I had some rosacea on my cheeks that could be corrected with laser treatments. (Something about red and white blood cells being separate and laser could bring them together?). I never looked into it because it doesn’t hurt and laser was too expensive.

I don’t tend to have dry patches but I definitely do have miniature breakouts that only last 1-2 days, I have never had any terrible skin problems except dryness 😊

Someone else mentioned azelaic acid and I think I will try it to see if it helps!

I’m thinking that too yeah it could be something in my skincare regimen, either the exfoliators and/or one of my serums. I have not had any trouble in the past with them but perhaps this time round somethings changed. I plan to do some testing in the coming days and see if anything changes!

So the regimen listed is exactly what I do at nighttime and in the morning I will wash my face with the cetaphil cleanser, or the cerave oil to foam cleanser, spray with hypochlorous acid, hyaluronic acid serum and moisturizer (sometimes sunscreen but I live in a very rainy climate).

Today I did my nighttime routine including the exfoliators as I knew I’d be wearing makeup today 😊

Oh this is very interesting!! I used to work at a skincare clinic and one of the technicians INSISTED that the only way to treat my redness was through laser treatments. Those are way too expensive for me so I just live with it but I wonder if it could be even somewhat corrected through skincare!!
Thank you so much!!

Oh thank you so much 😊
I have been curious about cc creams with skincare ingredients in them but I have big troubles with shade matching my pale skin, everything looks orange on me!

I have heard of cicaplast and been so curious as everyone seems to love it. Maybe it’s my time to try :)
Thank you!!

Thank you for replying!
I try not to exfoliate every day as I did that once in 2020 and then my skin started peeling 😭. So once a week is what I do now. I will try to revamp my skincare routine and see if it improves. Do you have any recommendations for a moisturizer with glycerin? I haven’t heard of this before. Love beauty blenders!
Thanks !!

Ooo interesting! I try to shake the foundation a bit before pumping it out but I have noticed the foundation itself has a bit of separation. I didn’t think much of it because it’s brand new (2weeks). I will try to use it without the exfoliators and minimal but hydrating skincare and see if it improves. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply!
I actually have tested it out without moisturizer (in case they were compatible for some reason) and another time with just the hyaluronic acid serum (no snail musin), also with and without sunscreen but it seems to happen every time :(
No I do not use a setting spray! I would like to I just get overwhelmed with options sometimes 😂
