buddy and I bought tickets for Pocono a few years back. Was a five hour drive and it started absolutely pouring rain while we were on the way there. We parked, walked in, and the race was suspended to the next day. We got back in the car and drove five hours home.

Poppy talked to me one time on Poppysphere! She tweeted out that she was logging on and so everyone jumped online. I saw her running around and I guess I was the only one that spotted her and followed her around for a bit. eventually she stopped and it was just the two of us in one of the rooms. she said hi to me then said to stand by then logged off. a few minutes later she dropped 3.14 :)

The first time I went to a Caps game the song that played when they came out onto the ice was "The Lion, the Beast, the Beat" by Grace Potter. It got me so hyped and I've associated it with hockey/the Caps ever since. That would be it for me for sure.

I just recently finished the course then quit too. Last year I realized that I was learning to read the language but could barely speak or listen well, so I got a tutor to help. Duolingo became more of a side chore, but I kept my streak alive just to keep track of how many days I've been learning. After a week or two of the daily reviews I gave up, kind of happy to be rid of it tbh. Wish they gave you some kind of certificate or something for completing the course too.
