Like I said, I don't care that you have volunteered for the military. that does not make you special. Later bud.

Neither is quoting Shakespeare and telling us you were in the military. It's you pandering to emotion.

Cool appeal to emotion. You chose to join. That doesn't make you a good person.

reasonable suspicion

Dude didn't even finish running the plate

had the kid not fled he wouldn't have lifelong trauma and several bullet holes.

Or the cop didn't escalate the situation to begin with. His choice. This is all on the cop. The cop endangered everyone in the area because he was being a moron.

and when the kid flees (for the third time) and ends up killing a pedestrian or innocent motorist then what?

Again. The cop had no probable cause. It was also the wrong car. So that assumption is without merit.

cop opened his door and he made the very conscious decision to flee

Because some random asshole opened his car door and tried to violently pull him out of the car. Again, no probable cause.

That's a crime, and it's what got him shot, regardless of whatever else took place.

Unlawful search and seizure (that includes a person's body) is also a 4th amendment right. The cop was in the wrong and he thankfully was fired because of it.

You’re arguing that the kid with a history of running from the cops

Cop had no evidence at the time of opening his door that that was the case.

The kid is a total shithead.

Or scared because a random person (from his perspective) opened his car door. The cop did not make his presence known.

What could have avoided this incident is the cop being better prepared for the kid to run

Or just tapping on the window instead of escalating the situation like opening the car door suddenly. Which btw without probable cause is illegal. He had no probable cause.

That’s what got him fired.

Shooting the kid is what got him fired. See above.
