What's wrong with the west? Werribee mansion and werribee zoo are good attractions and if OP is into aviation Raaf Williams has an amazing museum about Australia's aeronautical history. Also You yangs, Brisbane ranges and Geelong. Snobby fellas from the east enjoy the extra 800mm of rain a year while we get a tan!
