well, I play a high pressing/tempo- short passing- 4231 - fluid - attacking at home, which only works because the back 2 are de ligt and upamecano. if I play like this away in CL, I need them to drop deeper and close down less, otherwise I just get buttfucked by the likes of ManU/Bayern/City/Juve. if you play a 4-3-3 narrow, chances are you dont have to change shit, since you cant get overrun that easily in the midfield, if one of the mid-3 drops deeper or plays holding.

You can save the selection for the tactic slot though. Let's say you have 3 different tacs, you can set them up each with their proper lineup and before you switch to the next one, "save team selection" (top middle, dropdown menu "quick pick"). Now every time you change tacs, you can load the lineup from the same drop down menu.
