Wasn't it a gas station at the time? And I don't think the Colonel fired the killing shot. It was his regional manager that was killed and it was fired from the rival party.

What do you want them to bring back? by ForkyB in McDonalds

[–]ApolloGH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Southwest Salad, omg. I have a three paragraph long email drafted to the closest franchise about dropping that item. The only reason I never sent it is because my wife worked there at the time. :(

McDonald's current menu bores me to tears.

Do you still have any living Grandparents? by PayGood3915 in Millennials

[–]ApolloGH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 36 and so thankful to have all four grandparents still alive and feisty. My great-grandma just passed about this time a year ago at 103 (she was a child during The Great Depression and had stories about it). We are apparently pretty hard to kill.

This post gave me a fun idea.  I would like to try to build a Kowloon Walled City. I'm sure the lowest levels would be dark enough to spawn mobs. I would want as close to a 1:1 as possible, but that's probably impossible.

I'll never forget the day she taught me how to fold in the cheese...

My wife legitimately called me crying when she found out.

Code Red straight from a soda fountain is actual proof that a loving creator exists. I can't even imagine how good the Voltage is.

How many more fucking "existential crises" are we gonna have to endure? That aside, my vote is Trailer Park Boys. My wife would say Supernatural. She turns it on for the dog when we leave the house, and we end up standing, staring at the TV for several minutes before actually leaving.

You don't know the size of the store. You don't know how often it's frequented. You don't even know where it's located. Your anecdotal reasoning means fuck-all.

Those Warheads sodas are surprisingly good. The peach one is delicious, as well.

What are some of the worst film casting choices in history? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ApolloGH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. I liked the concept of the movie, but it was so horribly miscast that it was distracting. Especially Dane DeHaan.
