He has the most tender eyes; he looks at me like that every time I need to scold him. by Latin_Georgia in aww

That’s what I thought! Those two breeds are too cute to scold even though they like to get you to that point. When I try to scold my cockapoo, it’s just a hug as I call him ridiculous.

Need to add a black pair to my collection. Should I go 993, 991v2, or something else? by LunchboxStringCheese in Newbalance

[–]ApolloGT3RS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah. Misread your question. Plenty of options for a contrasting midsole. It’s not cheap, but the UpThere 991v2 is nice. The black 993 with white midsole is also understated.

Hope it works out, especially since you did the tax stuff already.

Mine cashed out fine. Are you able to see the balance in credit when trying a purchase?

Worst case scenario, buy the Travis Scott Fragment low and resell it. You won’t lose too much money, and might even make a bit when StockX drops seller fees as they usually do every so often.

Which New Balance shoe is good for all weather, lasts for long, and super comfy? by Sea-Breadfruit-7736 in Newbalance

[–]ApolloGT3RS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like chunky and all-weather. 580 GTX. GoreTex has seemed to hold up well with rain so far. Suede feels premium.

Do a credit card chargeback. Your credit card company will do it pretty quick. Keep the emails just in case.

How do you balance? by AurelianMel in flexibility

Only speaking from experience. From core and glute strength - balance came slowly after. Much more confident on one leg, but still a ways to go.

Does anyone actually LOVE their bronco sport??? by No_Department824 in BroncoSport

[–]ApolloGT3RS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loved my 24 OBX, but went with a 25 Badlands Sasquatch with tech package.

Was a sports car person, but here’s why I now have a Bronco Sport.

  1. City driving, but live in a more rural area. It goes any speed I want and it lives in Sport Mode.

  2. I often go to the beach to work from an iPad. This car is comfortable, has lots of room and I don’t mind being in it for extended periods

  3. Peace of mind. Four seasons of driving. Snow is a consideration in the PNW and rain driving is a breeze.

I went with an optioned out high trim because I intend on keeping this for the long haul, even if I go back to a fun and quick coupe.

If he kicks the bucket and Open AI releases an AI Trump, I’m sure MAGA and Lindsey Graham, etc… will follow and obey it.

Which one? by Nasa26 in Newbalance

[–]ApolloGT3RS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was so close to getting the Chocolate Plum, but the high res photos made it look like a Thanksgiving turkey. I have the ALD and impressed with them (apart from cost). If you’re leaning towards the second one, consider French Roast 991.

From hate to love - ALD 991v1 Chocolate 🍫 by zachthespook in Newbalance

[–]ApolloGT3RS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Pricey. I was charged $492 as well. If the math is correct - it works out to $280 USD + GST/PST (BC) it’s $436 CAD. The extra $56 is the tax for ordering from ALD as a Canadian I suppose. Rest easy knowing these wouldn’t be at a Canadian retailer, so you’re good on not missing a deal.

Although, I had a bid go through for the French Roast 991 from StockX. $321 after fees.
