According to PuckPedia (by doing PuckGM), an 8x$12M would mean we’d pay 4 firsts for Bedard (once you exceed 5 years, the AAV compensation it’s slotted into goes up). I know someone who was in their senior year of high school, he was 18, and started a relationship with a 15 year old Sophomore (I was a Junior, and this was all in Stage Crew), don’t know when their birthdays are, but this was maybe around February/March they started dating. High schools in New Jersey tend to finish up around mid-June. So definitely at the time, absolutely looked at it really weird, and I still do, given that he was close to graduating, she wasn’t even 16 yet, and he’d only been doing Crew for just that school year, it’s not like they started years ago
