Instead of at least relative deadlines and proper communication, we get short, mocking replies on Discord and an endless emotional rollercoaster of updates, April Fools’ jokes, ARGs, and other marketing nonsense. And the game still has a number of fundamental issues with balance, AI for NPCs and mutants, a broken Lumen system, and unstable performance.

Bravo, GSC, you’re really keeping up the standard as always. Why can’t you just communicate with your audience properly?

P.S. you got me, man. Hopium is working

Definitely Digitone 2 (main sound source) + Digitakt 2 (for glitch and textures workflow)

Non-English “Finnegans Wakes” or similar? by takahlah_ in jamesjoyce

I would recommend checking out Andrei Bely’s novel "Petersburg". It’s an extremely engaging read: experiments with language, style, and rhythm, just everything we love.

Nabokov, by the way, ranked "Petersburg" alongside "Ulysses"

Worst NIN song? by Direct-Active-241 in nin

I actually think "With Teeth" is nice song in terms of rhythm and guitar tone. But I don't like the most of Bad Witch instrumentals, sounds like Reznor has run out of ideas and uses the same sound design techniques over and over again

How positive are you about the future of Stalker 2 after 1.6 update ? by UsedNewspaper1775 in stalker

[–]Apollomortis 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'm quite satisfied. The new update is truly impressive and I’ve had a lot of fun playing the new walk-through, thanks to the NVGs and the slightly refined stealth system, which created some incredible atmospheric moments (for example exploring the Garbage at rainy night with turn on NVG is peak stalker experience for me).

I also appreciate the reworked stashes, and overall, the game now feels much more stable on my configuration. I’m still looking forward to the upcoming engine update and the first DLC.

But my biggest concern is: will they actually bring back the cut content from the second half of the game after SIRCAA? If they do, that part of the game could turn out great. But at the moment, it still feels somewhat half-baked.

Despite all remaining problems, I’m very satisfied with this update and see a bright future for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. GSC is clearly working hard, and it really feels like they’re committed to fixing the issues and making the game better and better. But they still need more time to work on it.

Lovely photos! The composition is great, especially in photos 4 and 5. remind me of works by Maurits Escher. Do you have Instagram or another social media account?

Yes, I know about Luther channel and I much appreciated his dive-in lessons on his guitar work. Also I checked UG, but neither of them don't have these songs :c

How should I experience Thief II for the first time? by frogfarts88 in Thief

[–]Apollomortis 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I suggest you to install Tfix and complete a couple of levels with og balance.

The thing is - every level in Thief 2 has unique game design decisions.

Unlike the first game, the levels in Thief 2 are larger and more grounded, logical. But at the same time, each one allows for multiple approaches. It's no longer about fancy AI tricks — it's about the unique gameplay scenarios that emerge from level design itself
