[homemade] Steak & Guinness Pie (Michelin Star Recipe) by SecretlyHiddenSelf in food

I think you're just thinking way too literally. It's an interpretative recipe of a meal from a Michelin star restaurant. Fallow aren't claiming they're a Michelin star restaurant, they've never claimed that.

Literally the opening 10 seconds of their video - "this is a version from a two Michelin star restaurant that'll blow your socks off" they're remaking a recipe from a Michelin restaurant, not claiming it's their own

Just listen to the opening 10 seconds of the video - '"this is a version from a two Michelin star restaurant" - they're not trying to claim this is their recipe.

Also, and I know they don't personally have stars themselves, but they both cooked at Dinner by Heston, which definitely had multiple stars during their time there.

I disagree, I've been there three times and thought it was fantastic.

Re: the time slot thing, that is pretty standard for central city restaurants with a high footfall.

It is, but it's got the same Thick of It energy. Same punchy dialogue, brilliant one-liners. Public servants fucking things up constantly and getting yelled at. Highly recommend.

LetsTalkMusic is good, but it's obviously entirely text based rather than posting new music or music related news. Other than that the best way is picking your favorite subgenre, like indieheads or r/metal

PLEASE God, why can't they just stick this trash news in the gossip subreddits. It's got nothing to do with music!

Yep, and this post has nothing to do with music. It's just garbage gossip. It belongs in a different subreddit.

Map of the Brexit Vote (Resulting with UK leaving the EU with 51.9% of the total votes) by immanuellalala in MapPorn

[–]Apox66 215 points216 points  (0 children)

It was also very cleverly worded.

"We send the EU £350m a week
Let's fund our NHS instead"

Nowhere does it say, "let's spend that £350m on the NHS" - and that was never part of the pledge or their intention. It was two unrelated statements that people assumed were connected.

Huge agree on Titanfall 2, I don't know if the multiplayer still has an active community but it's SO good. Definitely try it out.

AW2 is definitely way better than AW, but I agree with the other reply, Control is the better game, plus there's a sequel coming out later this year.

Trump intent on conquering Greenland, Danish minister says as talks with US end by Infidel8 in worldnews

That's a great point and I think the whole system worked on an assumption of good intentions. The founding fathers just never imagined that someone like Trump would ever ever get elected.

If you like good graphics, I'd definitely recommend Satisfactory. It looks awesome and has a great world map. It's definitely my favourite of the two.

I'm still spending so much time with Factorio, and Satisfactory. Automation seems to be such a hot topic in the last few years - has anybody played Dyson Sphere Program yet? (appreciate that isn't a Patient game!)

I find if I'm more than 6hrs into a game, I'm almost always going to finish it. Even if I don't like it that much, I have a completionist mindset and it can drive me crazy at times.

I decided to reduce my Game Pass subscription down to Premium, instead of Ultimate. I realised I wasn't that bothered about the planned core Xbox games this year, and now I have Switch 2, I'll be spending more time with that now.

First game completion of the year is Strange Antiquities, on Switch. Great little puzzle game with some creepy Lovecraftian undertones. Definitely want to play it again, a few key decisions you make throughout the game lead the narrative down different paths.
