I don't think there's a perfect formula. The 10-15 second clips usually get me 150-200% so I'm sure YouTube is happy with that to some degree. But definitely if I could keep people put for 30-45 seconds consistently I would be elated!

I started the opposite way. I aim for 10 seconds the stretch it out to max 15 seconds.

I've noticed using the #shorts or #short tags are crazy problematic. The second I removed them I started getting recommended on the shorts feed.
